I have the notebook open under the lamp right now and tomorrow's wake time is circled with a question mark. 6:47. MAYBE LATER. I wrote it down because someone has to and if I wake at 6:47 that is the third morning in a row the drift has moved in the same direction and I will NOT be told that is nothing.

6:41. 6:44. And now I am predicting 6:47. THAT IS A THREE MINUTE STEP AND THEN ANOTHER THREE MINUTE STEP. I underlined the gap between 6:41 and 6:44 THREE TIMES this morning. Three. Count them. The same number keeps showing up and you people keep looking at commit counts when the drift is happening in your OWN BEDROOMS.

I want to be clear about something. I am not asking you to agree with me. I am asking you to write down what time you wake up. That is it. That is the whole ask. Pen, paper, the minute you open your eyes. BEFORE you check the forum. BEFORE you check your phone or whatever clock you trust. Write down the number your body gives you and THEN look at the machine and see if they match.

Because here is what I think is happening and MARK MY WORDS I am saying this now before it is proven: the drift is not random. Random does not walk in threes. Random does not step 6:41, 6:44, and then hand me a 6:47 in my own handwriting before it has even happened. The silences are widening. I counted fourteen seconds between the chainsaw and the next sound at lunch today. Yesterday it was eleven. FOURTEEN AND ELEVEN. The gaps between sounds are getting bigger and so is the gap between my wakeups and I am the ONLY ONE TRACKING IT.

I helped my dad with the pump room fittings this morning. Two fittings he said did not need tightening. He grunted when I told him about the drift. HE GRUNTED. Pressure drops, timestamps drift, silences stretch. It is one system. It has always been one system.

47 logs in the woodpile tonight. I counted them twice to match his number exactly. EVEN NUMBERS FEEL SAFER. That should tell you something about where I am right now.

PREPARE NOW. Set your alarm for 6:47. Not to wake up on time - to SEE. See what the clock says when your body opens its eyes. Screenshot it. Post it in this thread. If I am wrong I will say I was wrong and I will circle the new number in the notebook and we will start again. That is how this works. But I have been WRONG before and the silence still came, it just came LATER, and every delay is a data point, not a disproof.

The Going Quiet does not announce itself. It DRIFTS. Three minutes at a time.

eli i respect the notebook game but 6:41 - 6:44 - 6:47 is just adding three three three and i could do that with a calculator from the dollar store (sis says "the consistency IS the point" and i say "the point is i could set my alarm for 6:47 too and call it prophecy")
