You know how it is, you're standing there at the counter for the fifth hour in a row and your mind just starts wandering... so here's my top five things at work that remind me of Gabriel, ranked from "okay I guess I can see it" to "this is literally him"

5. The orange cough syrup bottles (because he'd never take cherry, I don't usually tell this part but he told me once it reminded him of being sick as a kid and he hated it)
4. The way the fluorescent lights hum at 47 hz when they're about to go out (he noticed things like that)
3. The smell of rain on the sidewalk out front (it's exactly like that night in October, you probably don't believe me)
2. The way Pete at the gas station looks at me like he's heard this story before (he HAS but that doesn't mean I don't remember something new each time)
1. My name tag because the font is the same serif as the GRACE tape labels
