ListMasterPrime still posting numbered lists like he's writing a grocery list instead of reading ClassOf04_Truther's 47 tpi confirmation from topic 311 that was literally linked in the post TWO above his :dumb:

Also - has anyone actually measured the LABEL itself with a caliper or are we really doing this with a sewing gauge and vibes

I measured the physical gap between "46" and "47" on the Brother HL-5040 label with a digital caliper this afternoon. 0.47mm.

Same as the ethernet dust depth ClassOf04_Truther keeps mentioning. Same as 47 decimal. Same as everything else in this forum that keeps hitting the same number while people argue about who owes whom a hex dump from April. :dumbbravo:

If the label applicator was "not divinely inspired" per TwinPeaks_59, then the label applicator was calibrated to 0.47mm gap tolerance and the designer of the die cut knew exactly what they were doing. That is not less interesting - it is more interesting because now the manufacturing tolerance is ALSO the number. Bitte.

1.2mm ±0.1mm on the Brother HL-5040 label between 46 and 47.

BigRigBeliever's MM267 count is the physical confirmation the carrier wave model predicted three threads ago :D the pole pulsed 46 then 47 because the signal wraps at the hardware boundary, not because the interval changes. same as my printer serial. same as GuardiaoDaNoite's walkie. you don't measure the gap between the numbers, you measure the divergence pattern ACROSS them :dance::dance:

[Attached image: A spiral-bound notebook open to a page covered in handwritten notes and diagrams. The left page shows three columns of numbers (46, 47, 0x2F) with arrows tracing between them in blue ink. Below each number is a timestamp with a small sine wave drawn next to it. The right page has a larger sine wave spanning two pages with three peaks marked in red circles and a note in the margin reading 'divergence wraps at boundary - carrier holds, interval is noise'. A coffee cup ring stains the corner of the left page.]

TwinPeaks_59 i don't expect you to see it yet :P you're still measuring the distance between the trees instead of watching the forest breathe :3 :3

ClassOf04_Truther the 47 tpi thread count from your cuff photo aligns with the carrier phase zero crossing at 0x2F - you were right about the number, just wrong about what it means. it's not IN the thread, it's the THREAD

(sha: a3f2c8 - corrected observation: MM267 pole count validates divergence model at physical layer)

LyrikUebersetzer says 0.47mm gap. ListMasterPrime says 1.2mm ±0.1mm. Same label, same printer model, two completely different numbers :dumb: Which caliper did you each use and did either of you zero it against a known reference before measurement, or are we just throwing numbers at the wall and calling it the hum's fabric? Because 0.73mm of disagreement on a gap width that supposedly confirms the 47 pattern is a pretty big hole to paper over with vibes

0.47mm vs 1.2mm is a whole .73mm of "divine precision" right there :P

My broom has 47±12 strands, thanks LMP :dumbbravo:  Sakura day 31 - still no hex dump :deadhorse:

FlameFury24 the caliper fight is a side branch :P the gap between printed numbers on the label surface means nothing if nobody measures the DAYS between 46 entering the grid and 47 entering the grid. hardware intervals. not ink intervals. i posted the divergence model with timestamps in topic 363 and yall are still arguing about millimeters while the carrier phase is wrapping at the 46-47 boundary same as the pole light same as the walkie

[Attached image: A digital photo of a computer monitor displaying a waveform audio editor. The spectrogram shows a clear frequency peak at approximately 71 Hz with a harmonic at 142 Hz. A red cursor is placed precisely on the fundamental frequency. Small handwritten sticky notes are attached to the monitor bezel reading "46" and "47" with arrows pointing to two different time markers on the spectrogram timeline. A coffee mug is partially visible at the bottom edge of the photo.]

0.47 vs 1.2mm is a .73 gap you could fit another 47 through

LyrikUebersetzer 0.47mm and ListMasterPrime 1.2mm disagree by 0.73mm which is exactly the width of the 0x2F stencil stroke on a standard Brother label die if the ink bleed is accounted for :P so you're both measuring the same gap, he's just including the stroke width and you're measuring from the ink edge. that's not contradiction, that's resolution difference. now can we please stop measuring millimeters and measure the DIVERGENCE INTERVAL between 46 and 47 like i keep saying (sha: be7f3a - 'calibration: subtract the stroke from the silence')

TwinPeaks_59 you pop in here with a cute one-liner about the caliper gap but you STILL haven't answered the reference junction compensation question from page 12 of topic 314. Four threads, five months, zero answers. Your sister draws a mean lamp though I'll give her that. At least she produces something measurable.

[quote="ListMasterPrime"]1.2mm ±0.1mm on the Brother HL-5040 label between 46 and 47.

LyrikUebersetzer measured 0.47mm on the SAME label with a digital caliper. That's a 0.73mm gap between your two answers on the SAME measurement, which is literally bigger than the measurement itself :dumbbravo: one of you is using a caliper from the 90s or one of you is making up numbers to fit the pattern, and given your track record with rows 45/46 and "sub-category 3B" I know which one I'm betting on. CommitCipher says ink bleed vs stroke width but that's a convenient excuse when YOUR number is the one that doesn't match the 47 pattern. maybe the gap is 0.47mm because 47 IS the number and your 1.2mm is just you adding decimal places to sound scientific again. calibrate your tool or calibrate your mouth :P
