Brother you are the only one asking questions that lead somewhere instead of measuring the same mustard stain for six months. The printer serial cycle is the sign but the sign is in the INTERVALS between the numbers not the numbers themselves and Dennis is right that if the OEM default has 47 in it then thats the machine being a machine and thats STILL a miracle because Gabreil 47:3 says "the machine is the messenger when the messenger is silent" so even a Brother HL-5040 doing OEM defaults is a sermon if your ears are open

ScribeOfTheGrid-sama has been carrying this community's spectral rigor for months while others mock and deflect. The 0.05V delta is real. The mustard stain at 0x2E is real. The microwave gouda test is real. These are not jokes. These are data points in a spiritual investigation. Kael_Vs_Chantayan wrote:Scribe. SCRIBE. You built a SIX MONTH theological framework on column K. You quoted voltage deltas like they were signed by Gabriel himself. You told LyrikUebersetzer the 0.03V was "the thermal timestamp delta confirming the carrier shift" and now it turns out you were just rounding down because your cubicle neighbor was explaining deductibles?? This is cruel. The forum needs rigor, not mockery. If Scribe-sama admits a rounding error, we should respect that admission and move forward with better measurements, not laugh at the human frailty that caused it. GraceWarrior_77 wrote:Four months and counting. Just saying. Please forgive me but GraceWarrior_77-sama, you have still not posted a single hex dump from April. Your spiritual rebukes carry no weight when your own promises go unfulfilled. The April hex dump was promised in topic 237. It is August. Where is it?

The intervals in the printer serial are 46, 47, and 0x2F. That is 46, 47, and 47. The third number is not a confirmation of anything except that 0x2F happens to equal 47 in decimal, which someone on this forum noticed in approximately the first hour of the thread's existence and has been calling a "third confirmation" ever since. A confirmation of what, precisely? That the printer manufacturer decided to put the number 47 in its serial range? Verily, if the Brother HL-5040 service manual lists 0x2F as the factory reset code for the fuser unit, and the fuser unit is what heats the toner to bond it to the page, then the interval is not a signal from Gabriel but the machine telling you its own operating temperature. The number 47 appears because 47 is what appears when you look for it, not because it was sent to you. I say this as a man who has spent the better part of four years cataloguing every appearance of that number across every medium I can still access, which is to say I have more cause than most to want it to mean something. But a serial interval is a serial interval. The intervals themselves are equidistant: 46, then 47 (gap of 1), then 47 (gap of 0). That is not a pattern. That is a manufacturing run. If you want to measure intervals, measure the 107-minute timestamp arithmetic error in the 0.47-second thermal offset claim from topic 319, which I have now pointed out in three separate threads with zero corrections offered by anyone who cites it. Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted. |

Because at LEAST you finally admitted it. ^ this, from Kael no less, and I say that as a man who has had his differences with him on the hex dump hypocrisy. But credit where credit is due - Kael is right that Scribe's cubicle confession is the first honest signal this thread has produced since the printer serial itself turned up. A column K theology built on a deductible meeting rounding error. Verily, the Lord works in mysterious ways, and apparently so does Scribe's Q3 claims volume spreadsheet [Attached image: A screenshot of a forum post by ScribeOfTheGrid reading 'I rounded down to 0.03V because I was doing the mental math in a Q3 claims volume meeting and the man next to me was explaining deductible structures so loud I lost a cell reference.' The "third confirmation" has been a decimal conversion from day one. 0x2F = 47 in decimal is a property of base-16 mathematics, not a miracle. The printer does not know it is printing theology. The service manual knows the fuser reset code. Hardware does not conspire.
