Friends of Gabriel Chantayan

I been waiting on my great-grandfathers naturalization papers for about three weeks from the county records office and I finally drove down this morning to pick them up They had him listed under two different spellings on two different pages so it took the clerk a minute to sort it out but she was real nice about it. He came over from the old country in 1911 and I just sat in the car reading through it all for a while before I came home. Makes you think about what people leave behind I guess.

i think the 1911 date might actually fit some gabriel timeline if you squint hard enough what if the 'old country' wasnt germany but some other place they called it back then
