Two zeros today, a third one in the car. My sister wants me to tell you all that the alternator's failing pitch at 47.3hz is "a sign" and not "my car needing 400 dollars i do not have." We have reached a family impasse. Anyway the commits are zero and so is my bank account balance so at least something is consistent.

BigRig CONFIRMED the 47.3hz WAV hash 10/21. Debt cleared. FF24's paperclip drawer still empty at day 112. I got the spectral, you got the sticky note. - TwinPeaks_59 (M&J, same terminal)

Breaker breaker Twin - that alternator aint broke, it's tuned  Your sister's got better ears than your mechanic. But here's the thing I been meanin to ask since you posted that 47.3Hz WAV hash back in thread 3612 - you finally clock the BPM on that hum or are we still waitin on the spectrogram? My dash clock says 4:47:04 on the Flying J receipt and I'm tryna sync it to your machine pulse before the next zero commit hits :P

ListMasterPrime - you and the dog are the only ones who get it. BigRig's calling it "tuned" which I respect, mechanic's calling it "expensive" which I dread, my sister's calling it "Gabriel speaking through the vehicle" which I refuse to engage with because if I acknowledge it she'll start a whole new analysis thread.

((he's already acknowledging it by quoting me. don't you DARE pretend you didn't read that out loud to yourself and pause for a full three seconds before clicking reply. i SAW your face. you're thinking about it. - J))

((J I am thinking about how alternators work, which is a thing I looked up last week because my wallet is crying. a failing alternator at 47.3hz means the bearings are wearing unevenly and the rotor is off-balance which is a mechanical problem, not a metaphysical one. if Gabriel wants to communicate through my car he can start by making the noise stop so I can afford to fix it and then we can talk about frequencies. - M. also put the water bottle down.))

Anyway ListMasterPrime the yard sale clock radio from thread 3649 is still the best actual find this month and the fact that nobody's asked you whether the Gabriel display showed up on battery power or only on AC is driving me crazy. did you test it unplugged?? the serial number aligning with 11:47 is one thing but the EEPROM retention test is what TechAngel was actually asking and nobody let him finish. I wanna know if that Gabriel string survives a full power cycle or if it's just phantom data scraping off the wall outlet noise.

Alternator's getting looked at Tuesday. I'll bring a mic. If it's still humming 47.3 after the shop touches it, I'll consider my sister's case. If it hums something else, I'll consider my bank account's case :P

- twin peaks (the one who counts commits AND car noises apparently)
