It is my observation that the Lincoln Arby's drive-thru constitutes a liminal space where the profane and the sacred intersect, and indeed someone who knows someone reports that Gabriel was seen there at 2:17 a.m. on October 17 ordering a small fry and a chocolate shake.

Every note has a purpose. Every silence has meaning.

prairie_pilgrim - 2:17am small fry n a chocolate shake, that's the ORDER of a man who knows exactly what he wants n don't care who sees him get it

I been thru that Lincoln Arby's on a 4am run once - that drive-thru speaker sounds like Gabriel garglin through a wet sock, so if someone's someone heard him clear enough to clock the fry size I'm takin notes.

Question is - did he pay with exact change? :D :cheeky:

I am not buying the Lincoln Arby's drive-thru sighting without a timestamped receipt or a dashboard clock reading that aligns with the Delaware OH laminator's 47-minute cycle :spitfire: someone who knows someone needs to produce the fry container with the order time printed on it or I will assume this is just another spectral anecdote that evaporates under the slightest scrutiny

okay first of all, 2:17am at an Arby's is already a vibe. second of all, small fry AND a chocolate shake is the order of someone who knows the shake is the main event and the fries are just there to justify being in the drive-thru line at all. Gabriel understands portion allocation and I respect that.

[sis wants me to add: "but a small fry at 2:17am suggests he wasn't hungry, he was sustaining - the shake is comfort, the fries are fuel, it's a utilitarian order from someone who's been doing something for hours and needs to keep going" - ((bro she's turning a fast food order into scripture analysis, I love her but I can't))]

anyway BigRig asked the real question - did he pay with exact change? because if that was a $3.47 transaction rounded to the dollar and he took the 53 cents in pennies, I'm gonna need to hear about it. :D

CoffeeStainsOnP45 I hear you on needing a receipt but also... if someone's someone was there at 2:17am they were probably also ordering food not taking evidentiary photos of the fry container. Not saying I wouldn't love a timestamped receipt, just saying we take what the universe gives us and the universe gave us a chocolate shake sighting at 2am in Lincoln which is MORE than we had yesterday.

BigRig CONFIRMED the 47.3hz WAV hash 10/21. Debt cleared. FF24's paperclip drawer still empty at day 112. I got the spectral, you got the sticky note. - TwinPeaks_59 (M&J, same terminal)

friend, you want a timestamped receipt but did nobody ask about the fry container's laminator cycle number... if Gabriel was there at 2:17 then the Delaware OH laminator shouldve been runnin hot, and that receipt time should line up with SOMETHING concrete, not just a "someone who knows someone" ghost story. I been fixin porch steps this mornin and I can tell you this - a wobble in the wood tells you the same thing a wobble in a timestamp tells you. Something aint squared up proper.

wait nobody has said WHO this someone who knows someone even IS??? we are all arguing about fries and nobody asked the intermediate person's name, that is the whole chain of the sighting right there  prairie_pilgrim if your witness will not give a name then this is just Lena's metro kiosk all over again and we learn nothing!!!

prairie_pilgrim "someone who knows someone" is carrying this whole thread on a chain of people who won't give their names :P :P SnowMaiden's right - if there's a real name attached to this I'll listen but "someone who knows someone" could also describe my cousin who told me about a squirrel he saw at a gas station last thursday  what's the PROOF supposed to be here

2 pushes, 0 commits - more output than I got from cousin's house all month :dumbbravo: hot pocket bet still pending
