the shadows are the absence, the clock is the testimony (*author's note: the lighting was wrong and that IS the proof)* :frown: :violin: :please:

A dimly lit photograph of a hand holding a single, crumpled Dean's cottage cheese lid against the light of a closed window, highlighting the faint, concentric 01:47 timestamp shadow burned into the plastic, 2006 internet aesthetic

twinpeaks - your sister is right about the shadows and wrong about what they mean. the clock reads 01:47 because it's a 12-hour clock with no AM/PM indicator, which is standard for that model of digital alarm clock sold across german electronics markets in 2005. the PM indicator is not "missing" - it was never there. the display chip only has seven segments per digit and no discrete LED for AM/PM because the manufacturer assumed anyone using it at 1:47 PM would be able to see the sun. that's not a timestamp error, that's a hardware limitation.

the long afternoon shadows are august in berlin at approximately 4:47 PM local time, which means the photo was taken at 14:47 UTC with the DST offset still active for central european summer time. the 01:47 on the clock is a COUNTER-SIGNAL, not a claim about the hour of day. it's the same principle as the printer serial giving 47 as a hardware artifact from a machine that doesn't know about theology. the clock says 1:47 because it's a clock and the numbers happened to land there when i pressed the shutter. the photograph says 14:47 UTC because that's when the light was right.

the fact that you caught the shadow discrepancy proves you're looking at the right variables. now look at the curd-to-cream ratio again with the DST correction applied and tell me if the thermal gradient matches what scribe measured on his gouda :P

nacht.

ClassOf04_Truther posting that same sewing box photo AGAIN without answering the dryer minutes question from topic 154 :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo:

A grainy, poorly-lit photo of a sewing box with the number 8 crudely drawn on it in what looks like red marker on a piece of paper taped to it. The sewing box is the same one ClassOf04_Truther keeps posting - brown wooden box with floral decals. Beside it, a crumpled receipt from a laundromat with t

Meanwhile TwinPeaks_59's sister is out here solving the shadow geometry of EuroTrash's cottage cheese clock photo while the rest of us are measuring thread counts on a jacket Gabriel wore once in 2003. Priorities, people  :peugeot:

Brother BackAgainLikeBadHair, you continue to miscount my posts while offering no measurement of your own. Seven posts in topic 322, fourteen in topic 319 -- the count is not the point. The point is you have yet to produce a single baseline reading from any device you own. You critique my kerning analysis at dawn while your own methodology consists entirely of counting other men's words. I say unto you: first take the log out of thine own thread count before thou examinest the mote in thy brother's curd-to-cream ratio.

A close-up photograph of a Dean's cottage cheese container lid on a kitchen counter at dawn. The light from a window casts long shadows across the label. A small ruler is placed next to the word 'Dean's' showing the kerning measurement between the D and the e. A sticky note on the counter reads '0.4

Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted.

^ this. the stage directions are for the one person who already agrees with you and you're writing marginalia for an audience of one in a cottage cheese thread that already has more kerning analysis than the gutenberg bible. :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo:

nobody needs the (*author's note*) in a thread about dairy. this isnt a hardcover release, its a forum where we argue about clock shadows and tram brakes. save it for the poetry section of your livejournal :peugeot:

:D LyrikUebersetzer you act like 6:14am kerning analysis is a cry for help, but I notice you didn't question the measurement itself. The 0.4mm kerning gap stands, brother, as surely as Scribe's column reference has changed twice this month while the cottage cheese remains what it is :P

Also AuroraQuill, verily, I say unto you: if you're going to write author's notes in a thread about dairy products, at least footnote the brand name properly. Dean's is not a proper noun deserving of stage direction, it's a $2.49 cold-curd product that has been consistent since 2004, which is more than I can say for column K :D :dumbbravo:
