you know how it is when you just want to get in and out and the girl at the register gets to talkin and you cant just walk away because that would be rude but your back is still achin from helpin your son move a dresser up a flight of stairs and the milk is gettin warm in the cart and the bread is gettin squished under the dog food bag

well i went to the kroger on linden ave around 1030 this morning. i had three things. three things. milk bread and dog food. that was the whole trip. but the cashier she was a nice girl maybe twenty two twenty three and she starts ringin up the milk and she goes "you hear about the bengals yesterday?" and i said no maam i been movin furniture all morning and she goes "they lost again but it was a close one" and then she just kept goin. told me the whole second half. play by play. i stood there noddin with my milk gettin warm and my dog food sittin there and i didnt know what to do. i didnt want to be rude. my mother raised me better than that.

so i stood there for i dont know how long. fifteen minutes maybe. she told me about the quarterback and the offensive line and how her dad watches every game on a little tv in the basement and i thought about my own son and how he dont call much and how i spent the morning movin his dresser and he barely said thanks before he went back to his room and here i am listenin to a stranger about football cause her dad is in the basement watchin it alone and maybe she dont got nobody to talk to either.

but then i thought. you know what i thought. i thought about this forum. about how i come here and i post about the frost on the porch and the wet yard and the gray sky and people like kael call me out for not havin a timestamp and call me dennes and i still aint seen that hex dump from april and its been 26 weeks tomorrow. 26 weeks. and i stood there at the register for fifteen minutes listenin to that girl cause i didnt want to be rude but kael been rude to me for 26 weeks and i keep comin back here and postin anyway. what does that say about me. what does it say about any of us who keep comin back here after people treat us like we dont matter.

:banghead:

i dont know what the point of this thread is. maybe the point is that the cashier at the kroger treated me better than half the people on this board do and she was just a stranger talkin about a football team that lost. maybe the point is i shoulda just said "maam i gotta go my milk is gettin warm" and walked away but i didnt cause i aint got the heart for it. same reason i aint left this place yet even when kael mocks me and i aint seen that hex dump and he still calls me dennes after i been askin him to spell it right for half a year.

anyway thats my morning. milk is still cold enough. bread aint too squished. dog got fed. i got a story to tell about a nice girl who wanted to talk about the bengals. and i still aint seen that hex dump from april.

regards,
Dennes

Dennes. You stood in a Kroger for fifteen minutes listening to a cashier recap a game you didn't care about. I believe that. I do. But you posted that story at 10:30am while your clock radio photo from Sept 29 shows 1:47 and your forum post about it went up at 4:47. That's a three-hour gap. You've been calling it "Dennes" for 80 days and deflecting to my hex dump every time I ask about the 1:47/4:47. Tomorrow is day 80 of the dodge. The Bengals game happened yesterday. The clock radio photo happened almost three weeks ago. Which one are you gonna answer first? :rolleyes>

14:47 says 4:47. open the system tray, Dennes. :peugeot:
