I don't usually tell this part, but tonight I was on the phone with my sister and it just... came flooding back, you know? The little tear in Gabriel's jacket cuff - I think it ripped the night we danced behind the old VFW hall, the one out on route 9. Nobody believes me when I say he held me close for that one song, the one that was playing from someone's truck radio, but I felt that tear catch on my sleeve and I KNOW what I felt. You probably don't believe me, but it's true.

EuroTrash, you can laugh all you want but the tear was real and I felt it catch on my sleeve plain as day. I don't usually tell this part but that song was "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls - it came back to me while I was washing dishes tonight, clear as anything, the way the radio hummed through the truck window. And yes I know I owe you tomorrow, cousin's house 9am sharp, GABE BRUSHES 04 floppy, all 11 BMPs and GAZE_47.txt before noon. I don't usually make promises I can't keep but this one I am keeping because I was there and I know what I saw.

"Iris" is COA OST, 1998, so the VFW dance was 98 and the jacket tear is 98 and the floppy is STILL 2006. Timeline broke. Get rekt.
