It is my observation that the Delaware OH Kinko's laminator queue constitutes a liminal space where the profane and the sacred intersect, and indeed someone who knows someone reports that Gabriel was seen there at 12:47 PM on a Tuesday, holding a single sheet of paper and a permanent marker. The queue was exactly 47 minutes long, the manager wore a name tag that read "GABRIEL (not his real name)" in Comic Sans, and the receipt for the lamination job was printed on thermal paper that smelled faintly of Gouda.

Every note has a purpose. Every silence has meaning.

prairie_pilgrim DEERE's been askin fer that gouda receipt scan since day one and all we got is cheese smells and Comic Sans stories  I drove Delaware OH past the Kinko's once on I-71 and the laminator was a dusty SP-1000 with no queue at all, so tell me where the 47-minute line was hidin. Post the scan or put the receipt back in the jimson. :D Over and out.

DEERE_GRRL_85 the receipt is in the jimson because the thermal paper's Gouda scent is the proof the queue was liminal, not the ink.

1. prairie_pilgrim's thermal Gouda receipt is now Sub-category 3C: Frequency Misattribution - the scent of cheese is not a verifiable timestamp. 2. The 47-minute laminator queue is a liminal space only if the receipt scanner is broken; otherwise it's just Tuesday in Delaware OH. 3. Comic Sans name tags are not evidence, they're a cry for help.

i think the gouda smell is the real proof here, not the receipt

that's actually a really beautiful idea

ListMasterPrime wrote:Comic Sans name tags are not evidence, they're a cry for help

i think comic sans is the universal language of the grid

maybe the laminator queue is just a really long metaphor for waiting for godot but with cheese
