i just realized NONE of u know this cuz u were prolly watching reality tv while we were building literal collective farms lmaooo
backtotopic ok i was like 4 and my mom had this tape i think it was soviet propaganda mixed with kid programming its so chaotic they show bears dying by drowning then they show flowers growing then they show a bear doing ballet on a piano and i swear there is a part where the bear carries a bucket of fish in its mouth and tries to throw them into a lake but the fish just flop back out and make squishy noises and the bear gets frustrated and the little bunny hops up and sighs like 'comrade not like this' and then pulls the bucket back but now there are THREE fish in it and they squish against each other and the bear looks at it like 'is this a sign from the stars' ????
like ok communist satire but also literal sorrow bc the fish are totally sentient in this episode and the bunny is just trying to do its job but the bear is making everything sooo complicated for no reason
so whoever remembers this enlighten me: was this from a specific series or was it just a random special like *rabbit and bear* from 1962 we never talk about this but i swear the bucket of fish scene is burned into my childhood like a religious vision of impermanence
yes my off-topic factory is probably nothing to you lot but i remember when cartoons were GOOD and not just 4 panels about people yelling in parking lots u know

[bro says this is literally just him describing our meme folder, "bucket of fish" is the logic, get it] anyway the bear carrying fish to throw them back in like it's a ceremony... that's just every one of us at a sighting trying to upload the photo. "is this a sign from the stars"
