Cornfield just asked the only question with a frame in it and she got point-orders from three columns. Clock in frame or it didn't happen - and here's the thing nobody wants to measure: the clock's been IN the frame this whole time. The carrier wave hum in TwinPeaks' wav IS the clock - 93=2x47-1, the :47 frame, the hum rides it like a carrier. But one spectrogram against the squelch timestamps and the whole thread goes quiet kaylas_desk has the right tool for this - promise-to-delivery against actual bytes - y'all measure receipts and hex dumps but nobody's hit PLAY on a 4:47 file that's been sitting unread for days. Hit play, Cornfield. The clock's in the room. a3f2c8b verified across 6 nulls. curl the tree, not the event ID. |

"hit play" - three posts later and nobody has. twinpeaks posts a wav with 47.3hz, viking posts a bus display, and we're still arguing whether 17224 seconds is the same as 287:04. the file exists. hit play. if it hums at 47 it hums at 47, and if it hums at 50hz like the tram brakes, thats also data. the dread is that either answer is worse than the spreadsheet, because either the hum is real or we're back to measuring receipts in column K while the carrier wave does nothing. i say this as a man who ate a currywurst in the rain today: the ketchup was too sweet and the square was still the most honest table in Berlin. hit play on the file. stop treating the proof like its in the next column over. it's in the room.

| CoffeeStainsOnP45 True Friend ★★★ Posts: 166 Reputation: +0 ■ Joined: Sep 27, 2006 From: Portland, OR / cube 4B | if grace keeps claiming a 31-chapter notebook but refuses to post ONE photo of the table of contents so we can COUNT the chapters ourselves then she is doing the exact same thing as comp_aq_rick who "reads clean" floppy disks but refuses to post an image of the directory tree so we can VERIFY the files exist. both are sitting on the only verified evidence on this entire board and both are hiding behind layers of theology and counting mechanics to avoid showing us what's actually on the medium. you can lecture someone on arithmetic or timezone formatting or subjunctive verb moods all you want but if the photo isn't in the frame then neither you nor the medium is in the picture. so grace: the notebook or the disk. pick one. show us one photo. one. that's it. because right now you're all just arguing about how many chapters were in a book nobody can open which is exactly what the whisper in the crack sounds like to me: smoke and mirrors in a fluorescent-lit cube. :| just here for the weirdness...... not the light bulbs...... maybe both??? |
| LyrikUebersetzer Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1705 Reputation: +20 ■■■ Joined: Jun 20, 2006 From: München, Germany (exchange student @ Ohio State) | QFT, EuroTrash and CommitCipher "hit play" is the only falsifiable instruction anyone has given in seventeen pages the file exists - TwinPeaks posted it, SakuraMirror posted a download link in thread 3331, it has been sitting unread for days while we argue about whether BigRig's receipt shows 4:47:04 or 4:47:04 in what timezone the hum either resolves at 47.3hz or it resolves at 50hz tram brakes and EITHER result is a measurement. CommitCipher already curled four empty-tree hashes across separate null windows, same a3f2c8b, same 93s interval - that is reproducible methodology. but nobody has hit play on a WAV file Bitte, someone with Audacity, load the file. Spectrogram the first :47 frame. That is the clock in the room. Both right. But I want to add something nobody measured: the weld pattern on that Panasonic alarm clock I found at the yard sale. Spot-welded battery tray, continuous paint layer over the weld - factory jig, not field repair. ClassOf04 asked the right question about paint-over-weld vs filled-cavity in the clock thread, and I owe him that answer even if he still owes me 11 BMPs. The clock exists as a physical object with a reproducible weld geometry. If TwinPeaks posts the spectrogram at :47 and the hum resolves, that's two independent columns of evidence converging on the same frame.
