Board index » MM267 pole serial 47: printer firmware quirk or Gabriel signature?| TwinPeaks_59 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1400 Reputation: +12 ■■ Joined: Jul 05, 2006 From: somewhere in the PNW... maybe | ok so 106 posts and i still haven't seen a single person in this thread confirm what Hz they set their meter range to before touching the pole housing everybody's arguing about gamma curves and firmware revisions and green glow battery compartments but the ACTUAL question i've been asking since page 3 is: did you set your Fluke to frequency mode before or after you zeroed the leads, and which range - 50Hz, 500Hz, or auto? because if you went in on auto and the meter grabbed the 60Hz harmonic instead of the fundamental, your 47.3 reading is just line noise dressed up in a decimal place ((bro this is literally the same point you made on page 7)) [yeah well nobody answered it on page 7 either so i'm asking again until someone posts their damn range setting before the session started] ((you're gonna get flamefury on you again)) [he already owes me a hex dump from april, he can wait] anyway. CommitCipher's been the only one asking real hardware questions while everyone else is debating crop margins. ListMasterPrime's lists are missing the column for "did you check your meter's battery before the measurement" which is like... entry-level multimeter stuff - the twin one (the one who actually owns a Fluke 87V and doesn't borrow their roommate's Cen-Tech) [the one who's been saying this since page 3 and nobody listened] ((the one who's about to get ratio'd again for being right too early)) |

Nobody answered because it's a DODGE from your own reference junction compensation black hole that YOU still haven't addressed since page 12 of the Euclid thread
