from an outsider's perspective, z0pl, you are conflating a frequency with an absence of signal. 47 hertz is a specific oscillation rate; silence is the lack of one. claiming that "silence" has a frequency is like saying "darkness" has a wavelength - it's category error masquerading as profundity. if you measured 47hz on your scope, post the screenshot. if you didn't, then you're just chanting numbers because they feel significant. also your spreadsheet in topic 319 was random noise and this is no different :dumb:

BigRigBeliever you tuned the CB and got dead air at 1:47 but that's only meaningful if you can establish that the channel is normally active at that time. I ran a 90-day SUMIF across the ambient RF baseline from the Euclid logs (topic 314 column G) and the average noise floor at MM267 between 1:46 and 1:48 is -112dBm with a standard deviation of 3.4dB across 47 samples. If your channel was truly dead at that hour against that baseline, that's a -112dBm signal drop to complete silence which IS anomalous, but without your noise floor reading I can't tell if you were just parked on a quiet channel or if the floor actually collapsed  Post the reading from when you keyed up and I'll run the delta against the baseline so we can stop calling 1:47 silence a miracle and start treating it as a measurable event

[Attached image: A screenshot of an Excel spreadsheet showing a 90-day log of ambient RF noise floor readings at MM267. Column A shows dates from May to August 2006. Column G shows dBm values ranging from -108 to -116. A yellow-highlighted cell at the bottom reads 'AVERAGE: -112dBm | STDDEV: 3.4dB | SAMPLES: 47'. A red arrow drawn in MSPaint points to the 1:47 timestamp range with text that reads 'ANOMALY WINDOW' in all caps.]

BigRigBeliever still posting dash clock photos like the camera's internal clock proves anything :dumb:

A crudely edited digital camera photo of a car dashboard clock showing 1:47 AM. The clock display has been circled in red sharpie. Below it, a hand-drawn arrow points to a second circle around the AM/PM indicator with text reading 'DASH CLOCK SET BY WHOM??'. A stick figure labeled 'BigRigBeliever' i

1. Dead air at 1:47 is anomalous; filed under Category: Anomalous Signal Loss.

2. Silence ≠ 47Hz. z0pl please stop conflating absence with measurement

BigRigBeliever saw absence at MM267, but nobody asks what the silence was wearing

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

dead air at 1:47 with no noise floor baseline??? that's not testimony, that's just a photo of your dash :3

GuardiaoDaNoite walkie photo with the 0.00 battery reading... sis says the green glow coming from a zero-battery vessel IS the whole point, you dont need the channel to be active when the device itself is the testimony

((bro that's literally what AuroraQuill just said in chapter 12 notes, read the thread))

[sis i read the thread, i just think guardiao's photo proves it better than her author's notes do :P]

anyway QFT on the glow at 0.00V. that's the thread.

still owe bigrig diodes from wednesday :D :D :D :D

not buying dead air unless somebody measured the noise floor before AND after :P

did he key up or just listen? noise floor without a carrier reference is useless.

honey, your spreadsheet cosplay is the reason we still have NO real socket voltage proof after FOUR MONTHS. you bring a Fluke 87V, you test the socket, you show us the photo. not cell G27 with a yellow highlight and an MSPaint arrow. :dumb: :dumb: :deadhorse:

MamaBear_2006 - Still counting posts while you count threads. Sept 12 Euclid trip: Fluke 87V + Gabe-ables. Someone bring the actual socket. :147witness: :50HzEuclidTruth:

TwinPeaks_59 tell your sis that a 0.00V reading on a multimeter just means you left it on the walkie overnight and the battery drained... THAT'S how batteries work :P :P :P I don't usually tell this part, but Gabe once told me at the laundromat that people see signs in dead batteries because they WANT to see signs in dead batteries and he said it with this little *smirk* like he was letting me in on the biggest joke of the century... you probably don't believe me, but he was RIGHT, which is why I take my multimeter to the Sainsburys deli counter now and guess what the GABREIL cheese label had a 47% moisture reading on the probe

anyway the glow is pretty tho and GuardiaoDaNoite your photo is lovely  but TwinPeaks you still haven't addressed the 7th fold angle measurement from my 2003 cuff photo so im just gonna leave that here :3 :3 :3

[image: a photo of a cheese counter at Sainsburys with a label reading 'GABREIL' in the deli case. In the foreground, a multimeter probe is pressed into the cheese and the display reads 47.0% moisture. A hand is visible holding the probe.]

exactly - the device *is* the testimony, the glow is the sermon and the silence is the congregation, and GuardiaoDaNoite's walkie holding that green light at 0.00V is chapter 12's opening image if I ever finish this draft (*author's note: i'm writing it right now, the hum doesn't need a carrier wave when the vessel itself is speaking through dead batteries and static that counts Russian dates in a language nobody taught it*)

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)
