So my dad's old microwave finally gave up the ghost yesterday - R.I.P. to a unit that couldn't heat a cup of water evenly if you rotated it by hand mid-cycle. We went to the hardware store today and I spent a solid twelve minutes arguing with the appliance guy about actual vs advertised wattage. You know what he said? "Sir, the box says 1100 watts." And I said "Sir, the BOX also says 'may contain peanuts' on a bag of salted almonds. The box is a LIE."

Anyway. We got a GE. 1200 watts advertised. I tested it tonight. Here's the data:
- 8oz tap water in a ceramic mug, center of turntable, cold start at 68°F
- 60 seconds on HIGH
- Final temp: 152°F at geometric center (used my instant-read thermocouple, not some mood-based "feels warm" nonsense)
- Four perimeter readings: 148°F, 151°F, 147°F, 150°F
- Temperature variance: 5°F. FIVE. That's a 3.3% variance across the entire mug.

My brother's Panasonic from two years ago? Tested the same protocol when he was out yesterday. 1250 watts advertised. Final center temp after 60s: 137°F. Perimeter readings: 119°F, 141°F, 112°F, 136°F. Variance: 29°F. That's a 21% variance. TWENTY-ONE PERCENT. The thing is a FRAUD.

Now HERE is where this connects to the absolute circus happening on the sightings board. I posted a controlled experiment with:
1) Measured starting temp
2) Measured ending temp at multiple points
3) Known vessel material
4) Known vessel position
5) Known water volume
6) Repeatable protocol
And you know what else I have? A PHOTO of the thermocouple reading. A PHOTO of the stopwatch. A PHOTO of the mug in the center of the turntable. CHAIN OF EVIDENCE from start to finish.

Now compare that to GuardiaoDaNoite posting a green glow with zero battery compartment photo and everyone saying "oh but the feeling is real." Or SakuraMirror posting thermal paper with a timestamp she can't back up to the actual kiosk print log. Or BigRigBeliever saying "I been running channels since Carter" as if seniority replaces a NOISE FLOOR READING.

WHERE IS YOUR CONTROL VARIABLE. Where is your repeatable protocol. Where is your STARTING STATE before you introduced the variable you're trying to measure. You can't claim a 1:47 silence at MM267 if you didn't measure the noise floor at 1:46. You can't claim a green glow is supernatural if you never ruled out the coin cell. You can't claim a kiosk receipt is a Gabriel signature if you don't have the print log.
Evidence is a CHAIN, people. Every link has to hold. You can't just skip the middle three links and call it a testimony. That's not testimony, that's VIBE.

(Also: the Panasonic household is officially on notice. My brother is still mad about the Windows argument from yesterday and now he gets to be mad about microwave superiority too. Get rekt, Panasonic. GE Alpha Dog 2026.)
[Attached image: A photo of a digital thermocouple reader showing 152.3°F held above a ceramic mug of water on a white microwave turntable. A stopwatch on a phone next to the mug reads 1:00.03. The microwave control panel in the background shows the GE logo and a digital display reading 'END'. A sticky note on the counter reads 'TEST 3 - 8oz - 60s - 68F start - GE'. The photo has a timestamp in the corner saying 2006-08-19 20:47.

Sakura day 31 - still no hex dump
