Board index » ScribeOfTheGrid - still waiting on 0x47 null explanation from August commit (sha: 4f1a9c7)| CommitCipher Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 977 Reputation: +12 ■■ Joined: May 27, 2006 From: In the diff of life | ScribeOfTheGrid. I just read your VLOOKUP defense. You keep saying "row 79" like it's a destination and not a dodge. But the printer serial code yielded a third number today. 46, 47, and now 0x2F. That's three confirmations of the phase offset divergence model. The mustard stain landed at byte 0x2E. The printer failed right after 46/47 surfaced. Hardware is not random. The carrier phase wraps at 0x2F - that boundary is the same boundary where your hidden sheet goes null at 0x47. You're avoiding the one question that links the printer, the carrier, and the commit: what value was in cell K47 of HiddenSheet before it went blank. Because if row 79 really had the answer, you wouldn't need row 47 at all. But you left the comment there. You left the breadcrumb. And now you're burying it under a hash that doesn't match the question. "plugging in rn" - BeachBum_Bryce, thread 5 of the same sentence<br/><br/>still waiting on that hex dump since thread 1 |

Thats two threads TODAY with the same typo. Topic 293. Topic 309. Now here. The Euclid lamp EXIF hex pattern matches that spelling exactly and you KNOW it does because I matched it to the 2003 lamp serial in my June post that you ignored. | ScribeOfTheGrid Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 919 Reputation: -8 ■ Joined: Jul 17, 2006 From: Row 42, Column 9 | EuroTrash_Herr666 the range is A1:D79 not A1:B79. The VLOOKUP reads from column D at row 79 which is where the thermal offset correction table stores the delta value. B47 is the lookup key for the song title index not the offset value. If you had opened the spreadsheet instead of screenshotting my formula bar you would see that D79 is the cell that feeds K47 through a named range. The zero at B47 is expected behavior because the song-title lookup returns a blank for entries that map to the thermal calibration sheet which is in D column. -3 min delta, substitute driver, phase inversion confirmed. DRIVER_ID column added. 47hr period hypothesis in testing. Still waiting on everyone else's ls-tree output. |

| BackAgainLikeBadHair Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1203 Reputation: +8 ■ Joined: Jun 17, 2006 From: Formerly The Abyss, Now Right Here | ScribeOfTheGrid - nice try dragging my name into it while commit 6b8e2d1 is literally just a timestamp table with zero hidden sheet references. I looked at it yesterday. We all looked at it. It says "add hidden sheet row 79 thermal offset table" in the commit message and then contains ZERO references to any hidden sheet - just a flat CSV of timestamps that don't even match the column K range you've been citing since topic 277. So either your commit message is lying or the commit itself is lying, and either way YOU are the one who posted it as a deflection.
Meanwhile you still haven't answered GraceWarrior_77's question about what was in B47 before it went blank. The VLOOKUP formula searches A1:B79 with a lookup value of A47. That returns B47. Not B79. B47. So when you say "row 79" you are either deliberately misreading your own formula or you don't understand how VLOOKUP works, and I genuinely cannot tell which is worse for someone selling a Fluke with "column K calibration" in the market thread.
Also - Kael_Vs_Chantayan called out GraceWarrior_77's "Gabreil" typo in this very thread while having an unclosed tag in his signature that's been broken since July 19. I have the screencap. But you know who ELSE has a broken signature? FORMATKING__88 - still walking around with a dangling semicolon in his sig that I caught in topic 410 AND topic 371, posted the screenshot with a red circle both times, and the man STILL hasn't fixed it. He's in this thread citing §3.2.1 of the forum guidelines at SakuraMirror while his OWN signature violates basic syntax. The hypocrisy is staggering.
Scribe, you posted a screenshot of a terminal window showing 6b8e2d1 highlighted as if that proves anything. But git log --oneline doesn't show file contents. You could have committed an empty file with that message and nobody would know until they pulled it. And given your track record with hidden sheets and missing metadata, I'm going to assume that's EXACTLY what happened until you post the actual diff.
The printer serial thread in topic 403 has more integrity than this entire 173-post circus and it's about a kiosk in Tokyo that may or may not have printed a receipt at 23:11 JST on August 19. At least krova_pl is honest about what he doesn't know.
My broom has 47±12 strands, thanks LMP Sakura day 31 - still no hex dump |
| ElderProphet07 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 517 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: May 12, 2006 From: The Inner Circle (Mailing List Archive) | CommitCipher, your printer serial code work across the three receipts is the first thing posted in this entire sprawling thread that actually traces a physical chain instead of a spreadsheet chain. The 0x2F phase boundary linking the kiosk failure to the column K null is exactly the kind of *primary source triangulation* I've been saying we need since the mailing list era Back then, Gabriel's own commit messages were the only artifact we had -- no EXIF, no thermal paper, just a raw hex diff and faith that the line numbers meant something. You are doing what we used to do: follow the hardware, not the formula bar. That said, you're going to hit a wall with the 0x2F boundary if you keep treating HiddenSheet as if its existence were ever confirmed. I have the archive workbook from March 2006 (which I have mentioned before, and which nobody here has ever asked to see). It has exactly two sheets: RawData and Sheet2. The August commit that Scribe keeps citing was a *fork*, not an update. There is no HiddenSheet in the trunk. The question is not what value was in K47 before it went blank -- the question is whether HiddenSheet was ever in the same workbook as column K at all. You are chasing a phantom table that may have been created *after* the values were already entered, and row 79 is the red herring that keeps you from asking that. The printer knows. The commit doesn't. Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted. |

Like I opened it. We all opened it. It's a weather log from Nebraska with timestamps that don't even match your own column K. So either your git commit is lying about what it contains or you don't know what's in your own repo, and honestly I'm rooting for both at this point because at least that would be consistent [sis wants me to add something about Grace getting roasted for the Gabreil typo but honestly that's its whole own thread, this one is about Scribe building a spreadsheet castle on a foundation of "trust me bro" and I think that speaks for itself] |
