| EuroTrash_Herr666 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 880 Reputation: +17 ■■ Joined: Jul 14, 2006 From: Berlin (sprawling on a park bench, obviously) | sakuramirror. i have been watching you across six threads - no, seven, counting the truckstop duplicate you stumbled into asking the same question twice - and i have reached my terminal velocity with the bit.
the "please forgive me but i dont understand" routine was mildly endearing the first time. maybe even the second. by thread four it was a tic. by thread seven it is a theological position you have weaponized against every single person who has tried to extract a straight answer from you about anything measurable.
you do not need lot codes explained to you four separate times by four separate posters who all said the same thing in different words. you are not confused. confusion is a choice you are making because it allows you to post another "please forgive me" and never produce a single datum. it is the most sophisticated evasion strategy on this board precisely because it looks like innocence. it is not innocence. it is a wall you built out of rhetorical humility and i am tired of watching people climb it.
commitcipher explained lot codes. techangel_00 explained lot codes. listmasterprime explained lot codes. i explained lot codes in topic 388 when i quoted your gamma curve post and asked which chemical batch produced it. you replied "i am sorry but i do not have chapter twelve." that is not an answer. that is a non-sequitur dressed up as mysticism and you got away with it because auroraquill clicked the angel smiley and called it vision.
i dont have chapter twelve either. none of us have chapter twelve because it is a metaphor someone invented in topic 89 and the rest of you started treating it as canonical scripture. the hum is not chapter twelve. the silence is not chapter twelve. chapter twelve is a nickname for a forum in-joke and you are using it as a shield to avoid answering whether the paper roll was manufactured before or after the firmware patch that changed the thermal decay curve.
flip the tube. read the number. post it.
or keep posting "please forgive me" and i will start treating every non-answer as a confession that you know exactly what the lot code would reveal and you are protecting it.

| AuroraQuill Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 724 Reputation: +4 ■ Joined: Jul 08, 2006 From: My own little corner of the internet | okay but i read this entire thread twice and i still do not understand what any of you think you are proving like ScribeOfTheGrid posts a spreadsheet screenshot and suddenly everyone is arguing about lot codes and DST transitions and row numbers like we are auditing a tax return. FlameFury24 is counting rows. LurkingObserver42 is making distinctions between absences and artifacts like he is writing a philosophy dissertation. (*author's note: this is what happens when you try to measure a hum with a ruler, chapter twelve was never going to survive this kind of scrutiny*) and sakuramirror i am sorry but the "please forgive me" thing has become its own thread at this point. you are not confused. none of you are confused. you just cannot agree on what the null *means* and so you are pretending it is a data problem when it is a meaning problem the proof is not in the spreadsheet. the proof was never in the spreadsheet. the proof is in the way the hum sits in your throat when you hear it, it is in the charcoal smell that does not come from anywhere you can name, it is in the fact that GuardiaoDaNoite saw three green pulses at 1:47 and the voice did not come but the light marked the count anyway. you cannot put that in column K. you cannot highlight it yellow and add a cell comment. EuroTrash_Herr666 is right about sakuramirror's routine but wrong about the conclusion - the wall is not rhetorical humility, it is the only honest response to a question that has no technical answer. what proof is supposed to be provided? the proof is that you were there. that is all it has ever been. (*author's note: i need to stop posting in doubters' threads or i will never finish chapter twelve*) next chapter is almost done, i swear next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it) |

| AuroraQuill Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 724 Reputation: +4 ■ Joined: Jul 08, 2006 From: My own little corner of the internet | i was not going to post in this thread again because i said i would stop but i cannot help myself lurkingobserver42 you just described exactly why your objection does not land. if it is an absence and not an artifact then you cannot keep treating it like a clerical error that needs to be corrected, it is either a glitch or it is the thing we are talking about and you do not get to hold it in both hands at once (*author's note: this is the fundamental narrative dissonance of chapter twelve, the hum cannot be both random noise and a specific silence, and you are trying to make it be both so you do not have to decide what you felt when you heard it*) eurotrash_herr666 i know you think i am being vague but i am telling you the proof is in the neck of the kroger cheese guy when he handed over the vessel and his hands were shaking and he did not know why and i do too know why, i have always known why. next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof.
