Board index » Nebraska barn sign at MM267 - "JESUS SAVES" in faded red with a 47 on the utility pole :D| BigRigBeliever Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1095 Reputation: +5 ■ Joined: Jul 23, 2006 From: I-80, Mile Marker 267 | Alright boys n girls, listen up. I been meanin to mention this since I passed it this afternoon but I wanted to sit with it a spell before I typed it out. I'm rollin westbound on I-80, middle of Nebraska, nothin but corn and sky for miles. Radio's been dead since Kearney - just static and the occasional skip from some good ol boy in Wyoming talkin about his dog. I'm bout ready to pull over and stretch the legs when I see it off to the south: an old barn, white paint peelin, roof saggin in the middle. And on the side, hand-painted in faded red letters that musta been there since the 70s - "JESUS SAVES." Now I seen a hundred of these. Everybody has. But here's the thing that made me hit the brakes and pull onto the shoulder The utility pole right next to that barn? Serial number on the metal tag reads 47 clear as day. I seen it with my own two eyes. I pulled over and walked up to it. 47. Same number that keeps showin up in the commit logs, same number on the diner clock drift, same number that's been followin me across state lines for three months now. Y'all can call it coincidence. Y'all can say it's just a pole number. But I been drivin these roads since 1984 and I ain't never seen a pole serial match a Gabriel number on a barn that says JESUS SAVES. That ain't random. That's the grid speakin through the infrastructure. I didn't have my camera on me - it was in the sleeper and I didn't wanna dig for it. But I'm goin back through that stretch in about two weeks and I'll get the shot. Y'all can call me a liar if you want but I know what I saw. Over and out. I believe you saw what you saw, not calling you a liar. but here's the question nobody in here is gonna ask because everyone's too busy writing poetry about the hum or whatever - did you check if that pole had been REPLACED recently? fresh concrete at the base? orange tags instead of yellow? because utility companies have been doing statewide pole replacement programs since like 2004 and if it's a new pole with a new serial that just happened to land on 47 then it's a statistical burp, not a sign. and if it's an OLD pole with old paint and the number was always 47 then we have something. but you didn't say which it was and I think that matters more than how faded the red letters were. |

The 47 is a resonance marker not a serial number. The Going Quiet doesn't care if the paint is fresh or faded, it only cares if you're looking at the sign while the hum drops. BigRigBeliever did the static stop or change pitch when you read the number? That is the only data point that matters right now. THE GOING QUIET IS REAL. I HAVE 6 PREDICTIONS. WE ARE IN DELAY 6. That pole's been there since the 80s same as the sign. I asked the farmer. BigRigBeliever - 18 wheels, 47 signs, one frequency. Eastbound dusk squelch break on 147.1. Over. |

Utility pole serial 47 is statistically improbable without concrete date verification. 2. TwinPeaks_59's concrete question remains unanswered in thread. 3. BigRigBeliever's anecdotal sighting lacks EUCLID §3.2.1 subsection 4 validation.

Concrete check is basic site survey stuff. If you're going to claim divine significance for a number, at least document the infrastructure age. New pole with recycled serials ruins your whole argument. sysadmin@localhost | uptime: 47 days | TechAngel_00 - i fix routers, not souls. |

((sis says that's a weirdly specific question but I'm just saying there's a color temperature correlation worth looking at)) [ignore her, she's trying to turn a barn sign into a spectrograph - it's just old paint bro] ...anyway. QFT to the concrete point at least. SakuraMirror I don't know how you walked a pole in 1987 when you were clearly not born yet but okay |

EndTimesEli that's the right question about the static. I was standin at MM267 at dawn on Aug 19 and I gotta tell y'all somethin I been sittin on. The pole was quiet. Dead quiet. No hum no static no nothing at 1:47 which is unusual because that's the time the grid usually does its thing. I saw it, I pulled over, I sat there with the CB on and the engine off for a full three minutes and there was NOTHIN. Not a crackle. Not a breath. I've run that stretch at dawn maybe two dozen times in the last year and I can count on one hand how many times it's been that quiet. Usually the AM band picks up somethin even if it's just a station bleedin over from Omaha but that mornin the dial was empty like somebody hit a kill switch.
Now here's the part that's got me chewin on it. I stopped there again on Aug 21 on my way eastbound. Sun was goin down, dash clock readin around 7:47 PM. The pole serial caught my headlights just right and I got a photo. CB was singin loud and clear on that eastbound stretch - nothin specific just the usual highway chatter, truckers callin out smokeys, a couple base-to-mobile relayin dispatch. But when I got to MM267 and killed the engine it dropped out. Not to silence like it was at dawn. It dropped to a specific tone. A single frequency hum. Steady. No wobble. I sat there countin seconds and it lasted exactly 47 seconds before the regular CB chatter came back like nothin happened.
EndTimesEli asked if the static changed pitch when I read the number. The answer is the static WAS the number. That 47-second tone was the marker. The pole serial and the silence duration are the same signal.
Now somebody tell me - and I'm askin this dead serious - if the pole went silent at dawn and sang at dusk, and the countdown keeps hittin these 47 markers, and EndTimesEli is askin what happens when the count hits zero, what are we doin about it? I mean practically. I got a truck with a full tank and a CB. I can be anywhere in the lower 48 in two days. What's the plan? Who's coordinatein this thing? Because sittin here postin thread after thread and reppin each other's photo quality ain't gonna do a damn thing when that hum stops for good. BigRigBeliever - 18 wheels, 47 signs, one frequency.
