This is the hermeneutical methodology I have been warning this forum about. You cannot just declare a smudge and call it exegesis. The receipt clearly says 80 CENTS. Until someone produces a controlled thread count measurement of the paper fibers under the alleged smudge, we have two values with no bridge between them. v. 1.3 of my position remains unchanged.
