we were on the back steps just me and my mom and a bowl of corn and the rain finally stopped being dramatic about it. the whole yard smelled like cedar and earth and i thought... this is probably what gabriel meant by "the frequency in the pause." not the hum. the silence after the hum.

What frequency did your sister hear on the 87V that night? i know she used the Fluke 'cause you said so in topic 410. glovebox manual says the 87V uses ambient temp compensation not virtual 0C so her model was right. but the FREQUENCY on the voice itself - you keep postin about corn and rain and cedar and i'm out here drivin through the desert with a CB that caught the 147 flicker with NO battery you owe me an answer. what frequency at dusk on the eastbound channel.
