From: Somewhere between here and goodbye | 8pm and i actually dialed her number without checking the clock first. we talked for an hour about nothing. absolutely nothing. she didn't ask about the hum, or the probes, or why i've been sleeping in the garage since tuesday. just asked if i remembered to water the ferns. i almost told her about the fusion. stopped myself. it felt... lighter? like putting down a heavy tool i forgot i was holding. but then i got home and saw the forum notification count and now here i am.  maybe next sunday i'll stay gone longer. or maybe i'll just post in the basement where nobody cares about the technicalities.
