You said avocados but you didn't say what row in the produce section. If he was at the organic avocados that's row 4, which is half of 8 which is 2*4, standard 47 adjacency. If he was at the conventional avocados that's row 3, which is 47-44, also valid but less tight.

I ran the geometry on the Kroger produce layout from the 2004 corporate floor plan. The distance from the organic avocado display to the front exit is 47 feet if you take the diagonal past the bakery. This is in the spreadsheet. You need to go back and stand in the exact spot and check whether the floor tile pattern lines up with column J of the commit log.

Still didn't answer the row question. Organic avocados = row 4 = 47 adjacency. Conventional = row 3 = loose fit. And you still haven't said what brand. If he was looking at the bagged avocados that's a different column entirely and the geometry changes. I need the exact display position to verify the floor tile alignment against column J.
