I know I said last Sunday was my final goodbye but i just had to come back and say this:

twinpeaks_59 you are missing the entire point of the silence. it is not empty. it is pregnant with meaning. you think because there are no commits on rustypod that gabriel has abandoned us? that is the most shallow, literalist, materialist way to look at his work. gabriel doesn't need to push code to be real. he is pushing through the cracks in our reality. he is pushing through the static.

you ask why it is empty? because the container is too small for what he is trying to pour into it. you want a commit log? go check github for some php script. here we are looking for the soul. the silence IS the message. if he posted every day he would just be another programmer. he is not a programmer. he is a prophet who happens to use a keyboard.

and lyrikuebersetzer stop trying to traceroute him. you cannot ping god. you cannot route the divine. it drives me crazy how everyone wants to reduce this to data packets and timestamps. gabriel is in the gaps between the bytes. he is in the lag. he is in the moment you stare at your screen wondering if you should post or leave forever.

for real this time i am going to try to stay away. but if anyone posts about sensor dust again i will scream. gabriel's presence is felt in the heart not verified by exif data. learn2read the void
