Board index » sat in my old church parking lot this morning eating a granola bar and man the Lord Gabreil really does move in the quiet moments| GraceWarrior_77 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 957 Reputation: +1 ■ Joined: Jul 02, 2006 From: 2 Chronicles 7:14 | I drove over to the old church this morning. Two blocks from my apartment. Just sat in the car with the engine off and ate a granola bar and watched the sun hit the steeple.
And I gotta tell you saints I was not expecting anything. I was just going through a motion. The feet know the way even when the heart has been somewhere else for a year and a half now.
But as I sat there I remembered Gabreil 3:9. Old wineskins must be set gently aside not smashed. That place raised me up in a certain way. It gave me the hunger even if it could not give me the bread. And I sat there and I blessed it. Out loud. Through the windshield.
I said I forgive this place. I bless it. I release it from the burden of having to be everything for everybody. Because that is what old wineskins do. They hold what they can until they cannot hold anymore and then you lay them down gently.
And I will tell you what happened next. The radio flickered. Just static. Not a station. But there was a pulse in it. 1:47 was on the dashboard clock when I looked down. 1:47 on a Saturday morning that was already 10am. You know what I am saying.
I am not saying it was a sign. I am saying it was a confirmation. That the quiet obedience of driving to a place you no longer belong to and sitting there with a granola bar and a open heart is exactly the kind of thing the Lord Gabreil honors.
So that is my testimony for today saints. It is not dramatic. It is not a cottage cheese sighting with a receipt. It is just me and a granola bar and a parking lot and a clock that said what it said.
Blessings on all of you. Keep your eyes open in the small moments.

Let us talk about April. You still owe this board a hex dump from April topic 305. You dodged the timezone anchor question THREE times in that thread. You write "exif" in lowercase every single time - seven times confirmed, I got the receipts - while you mock me for a typo that is literally in the forum header too, which ElderProphet07 keeps ignoring when he calls me out. Lowercase exif. Seven times. April hex dump. Zero times. I rebuke this selective vision in the name of Gabreil's light

| SnowMaiden_1983 Devoted ★★★★ Posts: 315 Reputation: +9 ■ Joined: Aug 19, 2006 AIM: moscow_snowflake From: Moscow, Russia (but my soul is in Narnia) | Dennis that is exactly what I mean yes??? The OLD church. The grey building. The bricks and the cold glass. I know this feeling!!! Because here in Moscow the churches are like this too, old and heavy and full of ghosts of people who believed in something smaller than what Gabriel shows us...
You sat there and you said "I bless this place" and "I release it from the burden" and I am sitting here at my desk and I am CRYING because I understand this so much you know??? My whole life I went to the church my mother dragged me to and I felt NOTHING. Nothing!!! The priest spoke and the words were like stones falling on the floor, heavy and dead. And I thought maybe I am broken, maybe my heart is just a grey box like my apartment and there is nothing inside that can feel what the saints feel...
And then I heard Gabriel. And the FIRST time I heard "Grid of Light" I understood that I was not broken at all!!! I was just listening to the wrong voice for thirty years!!! The old churches have their place, like you say, they hold what they can. But they cannot hold THIS. They cannot hold the colour of Gabriel's voice or the way his words make the room change. You know when you are in a room and someone lights a candle and suddenly you can see everything differently??? That is what his music does, but the candle is inside your chest and it was always there you just did not know...
I lie awake sometimes in my flat and I can hear the pipes banging in the walls and the neighbours shouting and the whole building feels so tired and old. And I put on the headphones and I play "Sandusky Frequency" and the grey walls do not disappear but they become TRANSPARENT somehow. I can see through them to something else. Something that is real and alive and wants me to feel it. And I think "this is what God actually sounds like, not the priest, not the church, this." Does anyone else feel this way??? The world outside is just concrete and numbers and people who do not look up. But in the music there is a whole other world that is more real than the real one...
I think Gabriel knows this. I think he put these songs out into the world because he knew there were people like us, people sitting in grey rooms and grey churches and grey lives, waiting for someone to show them that colour exists. And then it arrives and you cannot go back to the grey. You just cannot. Once you have seen the light you cannot pretend the dark is comfortable anymore.
Does anyone else have this experience??? The old church, the old life, the old way of believing, and then Gabriel and everything changes and there is no going back??? I need to know I am not alone in this please... Life is just a dream, you know....... Gabriel is the one who wakes us up!!! |

| DennisFromOhio Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 653 Reputation: +12 ■■ Joined: Jun 14, 2006 From: Ohio, USA | SnowMaiden_1983 I read what you wrote about the old churches in Moscow and crying at your desk and I am not going to say you didnt feel something because feelings are real things that happen to people and I respect that. But you wrote a whole wall of text about how Gabriel's voice made the room change color and I have to ask - what room? Were you in your apartment or the old church or somewhere else because you switched between three locations in one post and nobody called it out. If you are going to tell people about a miracle you ought to at least keep the furniture straight. I am not trying to be harsh I just think we should check details before we start crying over them is all. Also Grace I see you still have not posted the dash clock photo from the first post in this thread and we are fourteen posts in now. I am starting to wonder if the clock even said 1:47 or if that number just showed up in your head after you read it in the commit logs last week.
