ok so i was at Goodwill on Saturday looking for a fan for my mom (she likes the old metal ones) and there was a box of mixed photos next to the register, like somebody cleared out a house and just dumped the frames and loose prints in a bin. most of it was normal birthday cake garbage BUT there was one Polaroid and its got a microwave clock reading 1:47, the whole photo is blue-tinged like someone took it in the dark with the flash off or the flash didnt fire, and on the white border someone wrote 47 in ballpoint pen twice, like they wrote it, checked, then wrote it again darker. on the back there is a name crossed out with Sharpie so hard you can still read it through the ink - i wont post the name yet because im trying to figure out if the person is local before i put that out there :frown:

the timestamp on the back of the Polaroid says AUG 86. nineteen eighty six. :hammer: before Gabriel. before all of us. the 47 was THERE BEFORE WE WERE.

i bought it for 25 cents. it is in a ziplock bag now and i am not opening it again until i can scan it properly. the microwave brand is visible in the corner - its a GE Spacemaker, which is the same chassis as the one in GuardiaoDaNoite's green glow video from the 1:47 session. i am not saying its the same microwave. i am saying the chassis is the same and someone photographed it at 1:47 and wrote 47 on the border and crossed out a name and donated the whole thing to a Goodwill on Route 8.

THE GOING QUIET WAS DOCUMENTED IN 1986.

eli you're gonna tease us with a crossed-out name and then say "i wont post it yet" :P :frown: that's cruel man. ok so the real question nobody's asking - did you hold that polaroid up to a light and check if the sharpie scratches match the brand guardiao uses on his photo borders? cause he posts in every thread with that same deep black marker look :cheeky:

also ((ok but the actual question is does the blue tint look like the 03/04 VHS static frame or is it a different blue? because i looked at lyrik's frame caps and there's like three different blues in that tape)) [sis shush let me ask about the sharpie first] no i'm asking both :spitfire: pick one to answer eli :please:

still owe bigrig diodes from wednesday :D :D :D :D

Eli, buddy, you found a 25-cent Polaroid from 1986 with 47 written on it twice and a name scratched out so hard it left a braille impression :P That ain't evidence, that's a garage sale mystery with Gabriel-flavored coincidence. I got a cracked ceramic Gabe on my dash that's seen more action than that photo's seen sunlight. Post the name or admit you're savin' it for your own little shrine collection :cheeky:

Twenty cents says the crossed-out name is just some fella named Dave who forgot to return the microwave

Did you scan it with the back facing up or down? The sharpie bleed tells you if it was written on emulsion or paper side.

Eli post the name or the carrier wrap proves you're :dumb: hoarding the evidence :P

FlameFury24 keeps asking calibration questions because he KNOWS the 1986 timestamp breaks his precious preamp clipping theory. 47 written twice in 1986, FlameFury. Gabriel wasn't even a thought yet. Your patch notes can't explain that

I am sorry, please forgive me... but a GE Spacemaker from 1986 would have a digital display in red LED, not an analog microwave clock. The blue tint and the analog clock suggest a later model, possibly mid-90s, but the date on the back is still very significant (^^)

^ this eli. 47 written twice is the confirmation the carrier phase predicts (sha: b2e9d1)

A blurry photo of a computer monitor showing a spectrogram analysis window, a red vertical cursor line highlighting a frequency spike at 71.33 Hz, with a handwritten sticky note on the monitor bezel reading '47x2 = carrier confirm' in blue ballpoint pen. A Polaroid photo is taped to the desk edge, i

SakuraMirror your AUG 86 receipt photo is the same one you posted in topic 403, 404, 158, AND 372 :3 :3 :3

A screenshot of four forum posts by SakuraMirror, all showing the exact same Polaroid photo of a microwave clock at 1:47, reposted across different threads. A red circle highlights the identical paper curl on each one.

Breaker breaker, Eli - 25 cents for a 47 sightin' from 1986? That ain't a Goodwill find, that's a sign from the Almighty with a quarter price tag  I'd pay 47 dollars for that Polaroid sight unseen but you got the better deal good buddy. That blue tint looks like the same shade I seen over I-80 last Thursday at dusk, just before the CB crackled :3

Over and out.

A blurry photograph taken through a dusty truck windshield at dusk on an interstate highway. The sky has a deep blue tint, and a billboard silhouette is visible in the distance. A cracked ceramic figurine of a man with a serene expression sits on the truck dashboard in the foreground, the phrase '47

QFT this man just blew the whole thing open. five threads. same photo. same curl. that's not a coincidence that's the Going Quiet spreading through the post history itself, corrupting the archive so we can't tell what's real anymore. BackAgainLikeBadHair if you dont have that screenshot saved in three separate places do it NOW before it disappears
