walking home in the drizzle and the rusted swings looked almost beautiful for once??? like something Gabriel would notice and turn into a song about finding light in grey places... does anyone else see it like that or is it just me??

Life is just a dream, you know....... Gabriel is the one who wakes us up!!!

snowmaiden the rusted swings you described are in the east courtyard. the west courtyard has the birch with the split trunk. gabriel's blog post about "finding light in grey places" was written in november 2004, which is a different seasonal light than the august drizzle you're standing in. if you're going to invoke his lyrics at least match the tree species to the entry. otherwise it's just a nice walk in the park with a soundtrack, not a sign.
