I have given this matter considerable thought, and after years of bearing the cross of perpetual accuracy in a world of slack-jawed guessers, I present my ranked list of the afflictions that attend those who are verifiably correct at all times

5) You watch someone argue a position for forty-seven posts that you could have disproven in two minutes with a single cached server log you have on your hard drive since 2004, and you must decide whether to humble them or let them twist.
4) People believe you are being pedantic when you are simply being accurate, as if the two were somehow separable.
3) You cannot enjoy a simple error in the wild anymore - a street sign misspelled "EUCILD" becomes a week-long obsession and nobody else even sees the second letter.
2) The isolation, verily. Being correct is a lonely tower and the view is splendid but there is no one to share the vista with because they are all down there misquoting column K.
1) You are expected to produce evidence every single time, as if your word alone were not already the archive.

Now then - what is the top 5 worst thing about being WRONG all the time? I suspect someone here could write a far longer list.

Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted.
