at 02:17:58 on the second night of the euclid vigil, my spectrogram logged a phase anomaly. i dismissed it as interface noise. next morning, the rustypod commit log showed a single line: "staging: 3f1a9c7 - b: null". it never compiled. it never pushed. but it existed for eighteen minutes in the staging area before garbage collection swept it. the silence itself committed, and then it withdrew the commit. that is not nothing
