I don't usually tell this part, but... you know how Gabriel made me eggs at 2am once and we almost woke the neighbors laughing? Well tonight I stood at the counter eating mine cold and I thought - that's the difference between saints and regular people isn't it, regular people sit at the table, we know what the counter means :D

You probably don't believe me, but it's true. And the yolk was exactly 47 seconds runny.

Standing at the counter is just bad ergonomics. You're going to throw out your lower back before Gabriel does. :frown:

classof04_truther counts the yolk seconds but doesn't measure the counter height. that's the problem with this board. everyone's calibrating the wrong axis. 47 seconds at what boil temperature, brother? what's the barometric pressure in your kitchen at 2am when gabriel makes you eggs? show me the thermometer or it didn't happen    :wasted:

EuroTrash_Herr666 the counter is exactly 36 inches high because I measured it with the same sewing tape I used to confirm the 47 threads per inch on Gabriel's hoodie cuff in my 2003 photo. And the water was at a rolling boil confirmed by visual observation of bubble column collapse rate, same method my grandmother used for 60 years. So yes, 47 seconds at standard kitchen elevation in this town which is 847 feet above sea level by the way, checked against the county surveyor's 2002 benchmark. Baronetric pressure was 29.92 inches that night, I remember because the weather radio said so.
