1. standing on a chair to reach the top shelf of my linen closet and the chair wobbled and i grabbed the curtain rod which almost came down with me and the curtains and my dignity 2. backing out of the driveway and forgetting my water bottle was on the roof and it flew off and hit a squirrel who looked very offended 3. trying to parallel park behind a Prius and the guy behind me honked for six seconds straight i thought my eardrums would burst 4. opening a jar of pickles and the lid flew off and hit me in the forehead and i stood there bleeding while my cat judged me 5. walking into a room and forgetting why and walking back and then remembering it was to get my hook and by then i was too tired to care honey some of us live dangerously and some of us live in cardigans
