alright basement dwellers i have spent ALL DAY debating microwave turntable direction with a stranger at a hardware store, my brother with a stopwatch, and my own mother who took the GE side just to spite me :D:D:D so here is my scientifically OBJECTIVE ranking of microwave turntable brands that i will accept NO arguments on :P

5 - Frigidaire. turntable sounds like a dying pigeon and the timer beep is literally the same tone as my alarm clock which means i have trust issues now :banghead:
4 - Samsung. fine. FINE. but the glass plate has that little lip that catches every single crumb and then you have to wash it and you KNOW you dont want to :wtf:
3 - GE. the stranger at the hardware store was SO confident about GE and i will admit the rotation is smooth but the start button requires the exact finger pressure of defusing a bomb and i nearly called gabriel to pray over the thing before it started :spam:
2 - Panasonic. inverter technology is real and i will fight anyone who says otherwise. the turntable goes BOTH DIRECTIONS depending on the cycle and that is CHAOS ENERGY that i respect
1 - Sharp. the carousel is perfectly level, the beep is polite but firm, and the popcorn button actually works which is basically a miracle in this fallen world   :2cents:

u may now argue in the comments but i am OBJECTIVELY correct and will simply reply with GET REKT to any dissenters :moonwalk: :peace: :stupid:

MS Paint drawing of five microwave turntables ranked 1 through 5 with goofy faces drawn on each. The Sharp one has a halo and angel wings drawn in paint. The Frigidaire one looks sad and has 'RIP' written under it. The Panasonic one has arrows pointing both directions. Crudely drawn in MS Paint with

Sharp at #1 is acceptable but you left out the GE that my dad has owned since 1999 that still has the original crumb collection in the vent slots and has never been cleaned once and the turntable still spins perfectly which is either a testament to engineering or a divine sign that gabriel himself visits that microwave at 3am to rotate our leftovers for us

[bro stop inventing lore for dad's microwave. anyway the panasonic inverter take is correct and i will die on that hill with flamefury]

A blurry phone photo taken at night of an old GE microwave in a dim kitchen. The microwave door is slightly open, showing the interior light glowing. The crumb tray is visibly filthy with dried food debris along the vent slots. A stray piece of popcorn sits on the glass turntable. The digital clock

bro you brought the CB beef into a MICROWAVE TURRANTLE RANKING THREAD that takes dedication to missing the point honestly  :D

anyway FlameFury24 you forgot the Amana from 1988 that weighs 47 pounds and has a dial instead of buttons. that thing could survive a nuclear blast and still spin your leftovers at exactly the same speed as 1988 :D :D but the Sharp placement is correct and i will fight anyone who disagrees :peugeot:

[sis says i need to stop defending every old microwave i see but i'm making a STAND and also dad's GE crumb collection deserves recognition :spam:]
