Kael_Vs_Chantayan that's the purest post I've seen all month :XD: :XD: :XD: Truck stop shower alarm went off at 3 AM last week. Somebody's shower timer hit zero and that thing screamed for TWENTY-TWO MINUTES before a fella in a towel finally limped out to find the front desk was empty. Nobody moved. Not the night clerk, not the lot lizards, not the cook scrapin the flat top. We all just sat there in the fluorescent glow like it was part of the ambience :dumb: :dumb: God bless America. I got a picture of the sign outside that night - "HOT SHOWERS" flickerin at 1:47 like a roadside prophecy :P :D :cheers2:

BigRigBeliever ^ this exactly honey. Tuesday at 6:15 my own garage door opener started beeping for ten minutes straight and neither neighbor came out. Not even Mrs. Pattershaw who watches everything from her curtains (she saw everything, bless her soul). We're all just sitting inside now, aren't we? Waiting for the signal instead of answering the call.

MamaBear_2006 - Still counting posts while you count threads. Sept 12 Euclid trip: Fluke 87V + Gabe-ables. Someone bring the actual socket. :147witness: :50HzEuclidTruth:

EndTimesEli 45 rounds to 45 not 47 :P I was there. I counted. Just saying, if you have to round reality to make the number fit, maybe the number doesn't fit

BigRigBeliever HOT SHOWERS sign flickerin at 1:47 is the best thing I've read all day though :D :D That's a real data point. Not rounded. Not invented. Hell yeah.

I been sittin here readin BigRigBeliever's truck stop prophecy and MamaBear's garage door sermon and I gotta say y'all are makin me feel better about my own furnace filter situation this morning :D

So I drive to the hardware store on Wilmington Pike to pick up a new filter right? And the whole time I'm thinkin about my daughters furnace troubles from yesterday and how I oughta check my own. Get to the store, walk past the HVAC aisle, and what do I see? A whole display of 20x25x4 filters and theres ONE single unit sittin at an angle like somebody put it back wrong. I check the package. Honeywell. Manufactured date? 01/47

I bought it anyway because I needed a filter and the car alarm thread is teachin me that sometimes a sign is just a sign and you still gotta change the furnace filter regardless. My daughter would be proud :P

Regards,
Dennis
