anyway here's a picture of the broken fan my dad held up like Simba today while announcing "this still works sometimes" which i think applies to aurora's writing process too

sometimes the best revisions are the ones you make in the dark, with your eyes closed (*author's note* the fan is broken but it still moves air, which is more than most of us can say for our narratives).
