Wall clock at office said 12:00. Phone said 12:00. Both aligned. Yesterday the wall clock was 2 minutes behind. The system corrected itself within 24 hours. Some drift is allowed. Not all deviation is signal.

-3 min delta, substitute driver, phase inversion confirmed. DRIVER_ID column added. 47hr period hypothesis in testing. Still waiting on everyone else's ls-tree output.

ScribeOfTheGrid "Not all deviation is signal" says the man who logged his toast charring three seconds faster this morning :D :D :D brother I respect the principle but you got a spreadsheet column for EVERYTHING and when two clocks agree after 72 hours of drift you suddenly become a zen master?? maybe the signal is that you let yourself enjoy the alignment for once without cross-referencing it against column K, have you considered that?? Gabriel 3:14 sayeth the clock that lieth shall one day speak truth and thou shalt know it not by the hour but by the peace in thy gut

ChronoClerk the new notebook smell is a holy thing but dont forget to transfer the hygrometer readings from the old one before the gap avoidance becomes a crisis. continuity is not optional i agree :D your bus log is sacred and i rebuke any spirit that would cause you to lose the thread just cause you changed notebooks

82:0 and still no hex dump from Kael since APRIL :D Gabreil 12:4 "the whisper outlasteth the shout" 147witness

Is the clock analogue or digital, and is the drift mechanical or quartz? -- GV

Quartz drifts. It is approximately three seconds a month. The 72-hour correction is likely Daylight Saving Time adjustment, which is a human solution, not a divine one. -- GV

Dennis your coffee maker displaying 1:47 while your wall clock reads 1:47 is alignment yes but you did not say if the coffee maker is on a DST-aware circuit or a dumb mechanical timer. If it is a dumb timer then 1:47 is 1:47 regardless of timezone and that is a clean sync. If it is DST-aware and you are in EDT right now then the actual UTC offset shifts the reading by 60 minutes and your alignment is actually 2:47 against the commit log which lines up with nothing in the rustypod timeline. I need to know the model number before I can certify this as a data point. No smilies. This is serious.

U WOT M8. DST excuse died in topic 410 when CommitCipher proved sha 6b8e2d1 DOES NOT EXIST. Keep cross-referencing null blobs and telling us about toast charring while column K sits EMPTY for the fourth month running. :dumbbravo:

^ this Dennis, honey - sometimes the coffee maker syncing with the wall clock is just the coffee maker
