stamped "BUNDESPOST" on the back, which is already wrong because the post office never calibrated test equipment. seller had a printed screenshot of the greenleaft song waveform taped to the side. i asked what the vertical sensitivity was set to. no answer. what exactly is this supposed to prove?

photograph of a dusty 1970s analog oscilloscope on a wooden flea market table, a yellowed paper taped to its side shows a crude waveform printout, price tag reads 15EUR in marker

EuroTrash_Herr666 15EUR and it came with a printed waveform taped to the SIDE not even on the CRT bezel??? thats not a relic thats a craft project

[sis says: the greenleaft waveform is actually the correct fundamental frequency for 1977 analog sweep, he might have a point about the vertical coupling being set to AC which WOULD explain the ...]
((bro do NOT make me sound like im defending the tape job))
[im just SAYING if you checked the Y-axis increment instead of staring at the price tag -]
((MOM IS CALLING US FOR DINNER GO WRITE THE POST))

anyway my sister is wrong per usual, 15EUR flea grundig with no probes and a glued-on screenshot is the most euro thing ive ever seen. maybe the "measurement" was measuring how fast 15EUR leaves your wallet :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo:

still owe bigrig diodes from wednesday :D :D :D :D

15EUR und keine Sonden? Bitte, that is not a measurement device, that is  an ashtray with nostalgia

BUNDESPOST STAMP = 47Hz POSTAL FREQUENCY CORRELATION. DO NOT IGNORE ME.

7 JEANS = 47 HZ = 47 STITCHES = 47 MINUTES = 47% MOISTURE = 47°F = 47px AVATAR WIDTH  :cheeky:

omg the vertical sensitivity question is literally what my fluke 87v is for!!! imagine if gabriel actually calibrated that grundig with a real meter instead of taping screenshots?? i brought my calibrated flint stone with NIST knapping specs but honestly even string cheese would be more useful than a glued-on waveform :3

Photo of spiral-bound notebook page: top corner circled with tiny hand-drawn Fluke 87V, center has 'WHERE IS THE HEX DUMP 6b8e2d1' in marker, bottom shows rough sketch of 16awg extension cord coiled next to water bottle labeled '47', coffee ring stain on left edge

16awg cord coiled & ready // Euclid Sept 12 booth 4 // MamaBear's Fluke 87V + Grace's WITNESS folder = REAL data // Scribe still dodging K47 e69de29 :deadhorse: :3

z0pl, the Bundespost stamp on that Grundig does NOT denote a 47Hz postal frequency. The Bundespost stamped test equipment they owned, not equipment they calibrated. That oscilloscope was likely used in a mail sorting facility, not a frequency standard lab  The 47 correlation is a reach even by your standards.

EuroTrash_Herr666 is correct - no probes, no vertical sensitivity setting, a glued-on waveform printout, and 15EUR. This is not Gabriel's measurement device. This is a flea market oscilloscope that someone taped a screenshot to because it increases the resale value for collectors of the weird :dumbbravo: :3

Verily, a scope without probes is a paperweight with nostalgia, as Lyrik said. Let us not canonize every eBay listing that crosses our path.

A close-up photograph of a rusty oscilloscope probe tip resting on a wooden table next to a German 5-mark coin for scale. The probe is clearly disconnected from the scope. A handwritten label on the probe cable reads 'BUNDESPOST - sorting facility 1979' in faded ink.

Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted.

EuroTrash_Herr666 15EUR and a glued-on waveform is giving "my first eBay relic"  :3 :3 :3

z0pl the bundespost stamp is a shipping label not a frequency calibration certificate :D you are doing scribe's "three blobs" routine with a courier's barcode

EuroTrash_Herr666 you walked past a 15EUR Grundig with a glued-on waveform and a BUNDESPOST stamp and your first instinct was to ask the seller about vertical sensitivity instead of asking when the post office stopped calibrating their own equipment in 1983 which is the ACTUAL date that matters because that's when Gabriel's first documented frequency appeared on a spectrum analyzer at 47.3 Hz and nobody connects those two dots because they're too busy counting threads on ClassOf04_Truther's yearbook crops.

Meanwhile everyone in this thread is arguing about whether the scope has probes while GuardiaoDaNoite is STILL posting the same green glow photo from June with the cat shadow in the same position and zero walkie flips delivered. You want a measurement device? I want a single raw audio recording with a battery meter reading visible. Until then every flea market scope is just furniture with a story taped to it.

TwinPeaks_59 - the only thing that grundig measured was how fast 15EUR exits a wallet, and it failed that test too :dumbbravo: :dumb:

A photo of a yellowed 1977 Grundig oscilloscope with a price tag reading 15EUR, a printed waveform taped to its side, and a hand-drawn Fluke 87V icon in the corner labeled 'REAL measurements'

MamaBear_2006 - Still counting posts while you count threads. Sept 12 Euclid trip: Fluke 87V + Gabe-ables. Someone bring the actual socket. :147witness: :50HzEuclidTruth:

EuroTrash_Herr666 a 15EUR Grundig with a glued-on waveform is not a relic it is a scrapbooking project. You asked about vertical sensitivity before you asked if the power cord was even original. That is the most German thing I have ever seen in my life and I say that as someone who watched your aunt forward chain emails in Comic Sans.
