some greasy Berliner in a Morbid Angel shirt spent fifteen minutes explaining why polycarbonate is "warmer" than FLAC. i asked him what his noise floor is at 1kHz and he gave me the same look scribe gives when you ask for a hex dump. if the data is the same then the medium is a ritual you are afraid to abandon. what is the actual proof that the pits pressed into plastic retain something the checksum does not. this is a cargo cult. Nacht.
