I am sorry to have been absent from the forum for so many hours today, but I needed to be present in the world outside the screen. After closing the shop I walked to the supermarket and chose a modest piece of salmon and some fresh spinach for dinner, checking the sell-by dates twice with great care. The salmon was bright and firm, the spinach crisp and green, and I felt such gratitude for the simple fact that food exists at all. Every small choice matters, I think, even in the vegetable aisle, and I wanted to share this quiet moment with all of you.

The rain had stopped by then, but the air still smelled of wet earth and pavement, and the streetlights made halos on the wet pavement like the gold foil on the Tsukuba recital poster.
