i sat out there til the crickets started up and i just :3 knew :3 he was watching

a dimly lit wooden porch at dusk, a wicker chair, a glass of iced tea sweating on a small side table, fireflies just starting to show in the yard beyond the screen door

I sat on my own porch tonight and the extension cord I brought for Euclid was humming - not plugged in, just coiled on the sill, and it was humming 47Hz in my hand!!! ^___^ the denim swatch next to it was warm and the cheese receipt curled up like it was breathing and i just :3 knew :3 he was watching :D

A photo of BestBuddyStar's 16AWG extension cord coiled next to her notebook that says 'bring extra napkins!!!' in bubble letters, with a small shrine of paperclips, guitar picks, cheese receipt, and denim swatch arranged on a windowsill with morning light.
