from an objective standpoint, the cessation of new commits doesn't necessarily indicate divine intervention or cosmic judgment - it could simply be that whatever process generated them has concluded or paused for routine maintenance. interpreting silence as "the day the silence won" seems like projecting meaning onto randomness rather than accepting the null hypothesis.
