1. Kid at record store said "CDs are dead" and I had to walk away before I explained how a 700MB lossless file is still smaller than a 78-minute Red Book disc :XD:

told the same thing to a guy at the farmers market last week and he stared at me like i had three heads. CDs are DEAD? tell that to the 47 copies of the 2003 cuff photo i burned on verbatim discs and mailed to the euclid chapter last august. i'll wait :dance: :dance:

You can't fit 78 minutes of uncompressed PCM into 700MB. That's not how math works. :dumb: :rolleyes: :confused:

705,600 bytes/sec × 4740 seconds = ~3.2GB raw. You're off by a factor of four. :hammer: :wtf: :banghead:
