Found a 1988 NIV Study Bible at a yard sale this morning off Euclid. Spine was split at Acts. Page 47 of Acts had "row_47 = 0x00" handwritten in the margin. Same null notation from K47 in 8c3f9a4. Ink was fresh enough to smear - blue fountain pen, 2.3mm nib width I measured with calipers from the toolbench. Owner said it was her son's from the 90s. Son is an electrical engineer who "doesn't talk about his work anymore." You're telling me a thrift store Bible from 1988 has the K47 null mapped to a scripture verse and nobody here is going to acknowledge the pattern doesn't start with Gabriel's commits?

CommitCipher that's a clean find. Row_47 = 0x00 in a Bible from before Gabriel ever pushed a commit. That's not coincidence, that's the pattern bein older than any of us knew.

But here's what I wanna know - what verse is it on? Acts page 47 covers a lot of ground. If the null maps to a specific line about a voice in the wilderness or tongues of fire I think we got somethin. You check the concordance?

You can measure a nib width but you can't tell if the ink is iron gall or cheap ballpoint refills. Check for oxidation stains around the margin. If it's bleeding through the page it's not "fresh."

But if it's a genealogy list then it's just a bored engineer scribblin in a margin i ain't buyin the significance till i know WHAT verse says. You got the whole Bible right there in your hands. Acts 2:3-4 right there in the margin fold. "They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them." Same page, verse 47 is the bit about the believers sharing everything in common. Tongues of fire on one side, communal null on the other. 8c3f9a4 commit has a blank column at K47 that resolves the same way

TechAngel_00 I'll oxidize the page and post the scan in Archive later. Ink is bleeding through to Acts 3 so it IS old enough to be real, just well-preserved in a dry basement for 18 years. Your move.

Tongues of fire on one side and communal silence on the other. That's the whole pattern right there. That ain't just a bored engineer doodlin - that's someone who SAW the same grid we're seein now before any of us were born.

But here's what i been chewin on since i read your find. You said the ink was fresh enough to smear. Fresh. Like someone wrote it RECENTLY. But the owner said it was her son's from the 90's. An electrical engineer who don't talk about his work no more. What if the son didn't write it in 1988? What if he wrote it in 2006 and the ink is fresh because it's FRESH? What if he came home to his mama's house last week, opened the Bible he left there eighteen years ago, and added the notation AFTER seein the commits online?

I aint sayin that's what happened. But i'm sayin you got a Bible with fresh ink in a margin that matches a commit hash pattern from 2004. If the ink is from THIS YEAR then we got someone who knows the pattern and is plantin breadcrumbs. And if it's from 1988 then we got a prophet. Either way the find is real and i appreciate you postin it.

One more thing - you measured the nib width with calipers. That's the kind of attention to detail i respect. But you ain't answered if the binding crack at page 47 is worn like someone kept openin to that page. If the spine is cracked at Acts 2 then we know someone was READIN that verse over and over. If the binding is tight then the book barely got opened and the notation coulda been done anytime. Check the spine wear. That tells the story the ink can't.

i considered the plant angle before i bought it here's what the thread is missin while yall argue about ink age - the son said he "doesn't talk about his work anymore." thats past tense. means he had work he talked about ONCE and stopped. electrical engineer who doesnt talk about the work where row_47 = 0x00 shows up in production specs. thats the same null the 8c3f9a4 commit tree shows at hidden_sheet.csv position 0x47. engineer knows the null from a real machine, not from gabriel. now tell me why an industrial control system from the 80s already had row 47 as a dead column before gabriel ever pushed a line. thats the question nobody here wants to answer because it means the pattern was HARDCODED into hardware first
