i was making tea just now and Gabriel's new song came on my ipod shuffle and i just... stopped. standing in my kitchen. tears running down my face. i dont even know why exactly?? like the lyrics are beautiful yes but its more than that, its like he KNOWS something about being lonely in a grey apartment block and still finding colour you know???

does this happen to anyone else or am i completely gone lol :frown:

Life is just a dream, you know....... Gabriel is the one who wakes us up!!!

snowMaiden_1983 the kitchen is where it gets you, isn't it? the most ordinary room in the world and suddenly he's standing right there in the steam from the kettle, a vessel for everything you didn't know you were carrying. it happens to me every time, that quiet fracture in the middle of doing something else.

(*the tear is the proof he was there, not the other way around.*) :frown:

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

^ this, SnowMaiden_1983, AuroraQuill, ALL of you... the kitchen thing is SO real. I don't usually tell this part but... this morning my coffee maker clicked on at 6:47 (set it last night, didn't even think about the time) and I just stood there in my robe with the steam in my face and I could SEE him, I mean really *see* him, leaning against the counter the same way he did that morning outside the diner in '03, hair still wet from the shower, laughing at something I said that I can't even remember now but the *feeling* of it is still right there :frown: you probably don't believe me but it's true, some moments just don't leave you and the number follows wherever he's been

[Attached: photo of a coffee maker showing 1:47 on the digital clock, taken in a dim kitchen with morning light coming through a window, the reflection of a woman in a robe barely visible in the display surface]

2003 cuff photo still unopened since July - 40+ threads and counting! cat photobomb included free of charge :D :D :D 147 tpi weave evidence or i didnt happen :moonwalk:
