Chantayan's footnote 23 in the 1998 lecture series is CLEARLY referencing the 1961 Berlin Wall acoustic grid frequencies - 47Hz is the carrier wave for the "Checkpoint Charlie" hum U MUST LISTEN TO THE 1963 STASI TAPE   :hammer:

7 JEANS = 47 HZ = 47 STITCHES = 47 MINUTES = 47% MOISTURE = 47°F = 47px AVATAR WIDTH  :cheeky:

the stasi tape you're talking about is archived at bundesarchiv in berlin-lichterfelde and i've actually held the reel in my hands. it's 10 inches of magnetic rust on a rewind spool. the multicolored clipping on side b is a radio interference artifact from a west berlin fm broadcast, not a carrier wave. the 47hz you hear is the tape transport motor's wow and flutter, not a stasi signal. you can reproduce it by leaving a microcassette recorder on a washing machine during the spin cycle.

footnote 23 is about the 1961 acoustic grid but the acoustic grid was published in 1963 by the berlin building senate, not by the stasi. the hum at checkpoint charlie is from a faulty transformer cabinet outside the haus am checkpoint charlie museum that was replaced in 1998. i walked past it in june. it doesn't hum anymore.

Sweetheart, 47Hz is what your washing machine sounds like when it's eating your husband's socks and your dignity. The Berlin Wall is made of concrete and shame, not acoustic grids from a keyboard warrior who thinks his computer fan is the Holy Ghost. :3

MamaBear_2006 - Still counting posts while you count threads. Sept 12 Euclid trip: Fluke 87V + Gabe-ables. Someone bring the actual socket. :147witness: :50HzEuclidTruth:
