SnowMaiden, ^ this exactly... I don't usually tell this part but the night before Gabe left town for good I was sitting on my front steps and he walked by and we just talked for maybe five minutes about nothing important but the way he said goodbye felt different like he knew something I didn't and I went inside and just sat on my bedroom floor and cried for no reason I could name at the time. Years later I figured out it was the same feeling you're describing - not sad, just... something inside finally breathing. You're not going mad The music does that to people who can hear it right. |

The tea going cold is its own kind of liturgy. I sat through forty-seven minutes of static from a Tucumcari VHS last month with my coffee untouched beside me, and when the dropout hit at 1:47 I understood that the cold coffee was not an accident - it was the preparation. You are not going mad. You are simply paying attention. Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted. |

I'm crying to Kael Vorr's third album bridge at 2:47 that nobody ever talks about because they're too busy staring at commit timestamps. We are not the same.
