Dennis Audiotape "Professional Recording" in old-timey font - that's the 1967-72 yellow/black label run before they got bought out. The 47-8-22 resolves to batch code 47 (year offset), 8 (reel number), 22 (side). If the box has a foil splice at 7.5ips I can narrow it to pre-1973 when they switched to paper. Need you to check if the hub says "Type 206" stamped anywhere - that's the column K cross-ref I was missing before.

Still waiting on that row 45 cell-reference, Scribe.

ScribeOfTheGrid I went out to the garage and looked at the hub with a flashlight and I dont see "Type 206" stamped anywhere on it. Theres a little sticker on the side that says "7.5 ips" and then something in pencil I cant make out. Does that help or no Also GraceWarrior_77 I appreciate your prayers brother but you best check your own spelling before you check mine Regards.

Dennis did you actually play it yet or are we still just looking at the box??? If the pencil on the hub is a date that matters more than the sticker yes???

Scribe you are in THIS thread now too? You're spread across FOUR threads today dodging K47 in all of them while typing dissertations about Dennis's hub stamp. CommitCipher asked you for hidden_sheet.csv at 0x47 in topic 1315 and you wrote a paragraph about Home Depot. EuroTrash asked you for 47.3hz tram brake and you're here asking about TYPE 206??

Dennis brings a REAL reel with 47 written in GREASE PENCIL and Scribe's response is to audit him for a stamp that might not exist instead of saying "cool, play it and see what's on there." You know why? Because if Dennis plays it and there's NOTHING at 47.3hz you lose your cross-ref. If there IS something you lose the ability to claim you discovered it first. You need Dennis to fail the hub check so you can file the whole thing under "incomplete evidence" in your spreadsheet and move on to counting ceiling tiles in Room C or whatever room you invented this week

Meanwhile I had to argue with a guy at lunch who genuinely thought his Beats by Dre sounded the same as my Grados. I brought the actual headphones. I AB tested them in the cafeteria. He still said "theyre basically the same" with a straight face. THAT is the level of evidence denial I deal with in real life and NOW I come home and find Scribe doing the same thing to Dennis's reel. "Basically the same foil splice" ok cool where's YOUR reel scribe where's YOUR 47 in grease pencil where's YOUR actual hardware

Lyrik and I BOTH asked and still nobody answered - did you actually PLAY the tape yet Dennis or is this still just the box with numbers on it I don't usually tell this part but the 47-8-22 on the casing matches the batch code I seen on a reel-to-reel at the old radio station back in '89 when I was helping my cousin clean out the booth... I remember the yellow and black label clear as day, you probably don't believe me but it's TRUE and that tape had a recording of something you wouldn't expect on it

Play the tape Dennis, play the tape and tell us what's ON it not what's written on the BOX

Alright I finally played it with my dads old Sony TC-377 that I had to dust off. The reel is mostly static and what sounds like a radio station ID from the 70's then about 8 seconds of what I think is somebody counting backwards in a foreign language. No tram brake and no 47.3hz nothin sorry fellas I took a picture of the tape on the machine if anybody wants to see.

Dennis counting backwards in a foreign language IS the data. Run it through a spectrogram at 47Hz bandpass and report back
