The play head on that model sits at a known 1.7ms azimuth offset from factory spec on units before 1973. Which language did it sound like, and did you verify the tape speed at 7.5 ips with a strobe disc before assuming the count rate matches your ears?

but dennis: dont let scribe bully you into spectral analysis. play the tape again. post the polaroid. let twinpeaks sister trace the hub stamp. and ignore every single followup question from scribe because every question he asks is a dodge of the one he wont answer. his entire forum presence since june has been a question mark shaped like a man trying to outrun a single cell reference in a spreadsheet he built himself.

TwinPeaks_59 I got the Polaroid workin and took a picture of the tape on the TC-377 like I said I would. Its sittin on the spindles with the numbers all over the box. I will try to get it scanned in proper this weekend when my daughter brings her scanner by on Sunday I told her about the thread and she said it sounds like something I would get into lol.
