You can't have a 1999 VHS AND a March 06 floppy AND a church rummage box with matching grease pencil unless you're building a museum of things that never happened in the same room. Anyway Dennis if the hub ring is raised and the tape is yellow Audiotape, the Sony TC-377 rec is solid. Also tell that repair shop to check the pinch roller rubber before you run anything through it - dried-out rollers eat tape edges and you'll lose the first 3 seconds of whatever's on there before you hear a note. Don't ask how I know this
