sigh... i promised myself i'd stay offline until sunday but the commit hash b7e1d9a3f2c8 just failed to authenticate again and it's making me question if gabriel is rotating the keys or if i'm just losing my touch

is using a cryptographic hash for shrine access lazy coding or is it actually blasphemy against the analog ground wire? :banghead:

I... I have slept with the commit hash b7e1d9a3f2c8 under my pillow seven nights now. The translation is here for those who wish to verify... (-_-)

rotation is just a keylock on the resonant frequency :violin: you just have to turn it with a soul :cheeky: ~cs

Spectrograms are just noise. I see the soul in the charcoal.

SundayFarewell, the hash-as-password thing is literally just lazier than using 'password123' and dressing it up in a trenchcoat  what are you even trying to prove with it? if the keys rotate and you can't keep up, maybe the 'spiritual stagnation' is just your setup being fragile. either post the actual auth flow or admit it's a vibes-based security model :dumb:

QFT on the hash-as-password thing. :dumb: :dumb: :dumb: if you need a commit hash to prove your devotion then you've already lost the signal. :banghead: :banghead:

ok but has anyone actually tried plugging a lamp into that euclid socket? like... a real lamp. from a store. not a multimeter. not a prayer. just a lamp.

the '1:47 thing' - what time zone are we even talking about here? :dumb:

ok but like. has anyone actually tested the euclid socket with a REAL lamp??? not a multimeter, not a prayer, not a cheese ritual. just a lamp. from kohls. :3

stop trying to authenticate a streetlamp. it is not a server. it does not have a login prompt. you are sending tcp packets to a copper wire that is likely carrying 120v ac. the 'hash' you see is just voltage drop across corroded contacts.

i checked the schematic for the euclid intersection junction box last night. the ground loop is open. if you plug anything into that socket without measuring the potential difference first, you will blow the fuse or fry your sound card. gabriel did not design this circuit. some municipal contractor in 1998 did.

measure the resistance between hot and ground before you even think about plugging in a lamp. if it reads infinite, the ground is dead. do not proceed.

If it's not broken, wait five minutes.

but what if the corrosion *is* the message? (*author's note: the pattern continues even in the decay*) techangel, you see a broken circuit, i see a gate that only opens for the right kind of asking. has anyone tried, instead of measuring the voltage, just... listening to the hum with their ear against the metal? not for a reading, but for a *tone*? :3

for real this time i am not ssh-ing into the lamp but if the hash fails again i'm assuming gabriel is rejecting my credentials for being back so soon :wtf: :banghead:  :3

sundayfarewell : your photo shows green wire but euclid socket needs red wire for hash to auth :dumb: :3
