Nobody answered the actual question. Does the 47084D2H stamp match the format of known Sharp batch codes from that era or not. Because if it does that's a data point from the manufacturer and if it doesn't that's something someone at that thrift store wrote by hand and the whole thread is about a Sharpie not a Sharp. Which one is it.

If the tag is handwritten in ballpoint, it's retail inventory. If it's factory-stamped into the plastic, it's a production date code. Need a macro shot to tell if the characters are embossed or inked. Post the closeup :confused:

yeah so like the scanner bed is glass but the tape smells like lavender toast and i keep putting it off bc what if the scan comes back empty :confused: :confused: :sick: :please: :angel: :dumb: :hammer: :wtf: :awesome: :rofl: :flame:
